Proprietary global heatmap : Heat button at top-left on map. Try the filtering on activities to see what interests you.
Dynamic lighting, version 2 : Try it out on a shadowy area of summer satellite imagery in France or Switzerland. Switch it on and off to compare. It reconstructs shadowy areas from additional imagery, to bring out extra levels of detail that are normally lost. It is also excellent on glaciated terrain.

Photos layer - Get the full picture on the beauty of a location by viewing geolocated photos on the map. Coverage has been expanded to mountainous areas worldwide.

Route planner flythroughs - While creating a custom route, you can view it at any point in flythrough mode.
