This app seemed to be just what I was looking for, and I created a lovely little book--but can't share it. I can't register for a new account or sign in with a prior account--stuck in a loop of "enter a valid email" and no help when I select "forgot password." I emailed a request for assistance, but no response. If I can resolve my technical difficulty I would rate this app much higher.

Great potential, we create many social stories for my special child to learn correct behaviors, but 1) it really needs better graphics. With so many icons readily available, why are there so few sticker options? 2) it needs a better organized display to choose books to read. Very hard for a kid to find the books he made in one long row. 3) some photo edit options, ability to crop or twist pictures, and place multiple pics on one page will create a masterful program out of this. 4) finally, and most important, there must be a more reliable way to lock finished stories! My son “redesigns” the stories, and then whats the point of all the hard work?? Thank you for your efforts on behalf of our children.

I bought the full version of the app. Every time I try to login, it says invalid email. I have tried various emails to register or login and it does now work. I am very frustrated because I paid for this app in order that I should be able to export and print out the book I made. Now I am unable to do so. I contacted the company several times via email (the only way to contact them) and have not received any response.

This could be a good app but the number of frames are limited. Also, although it does offer many font choices, it will not change fonts, so, only one font. Too bad...

I was able to easily create books using photos however was disappointed to find I can't load in video from my camera roll which was my main reason for purchasing. I've had no reply from alligator apps to my emails in regard to this.

Was so excited to see a social story app that can include video, but every time I try to add new or existing video on my iPad 3 the app crashes. Sadly, it will be parked in my unusable heap of apps. Great concept, but so disappointing that it won't work.

Unfortunately the stories I created on the free version didn’t update when I paid for the pro version and so we lost them. Also can’t create an account to be able to share stories with family members and have had no support from the designers. The photos and videos never stay centred and faces are often cut off.

I’d really love to use this app but unfortunately it won’t even let me create an account.  I’m told my email is taken no matter which email I use.  The support email address doesn’t work either. I have been using this app for years with my profoundly handicapped students.  They love the process of writing stories and illustrating them. We build and use LEGO to illustrate the stories.  
My granddaughter uses it to write her own stories. She uses drawing and stickers to illustrate her stories.  She is also special needs and it helps her with her writing. I strongly recommend buying the full version.  
More stickers and colors on the drawing pad would be great.  I have been able to share stories,  but struggle with that process.  
This product is well named as creativity is the key to using it successfully.

This app is great for the kindergarten classroom. It allows children who can write to add their story in text, and those who are not up to writing can record their voice. When playing back the story, I like the way the text is highlighted as it is read. A great feature for emergent readers. The simplicity of this program is fantastic.  There is great scope for children and teachers to make digital portfolios. I would like to see a share feature that did not rely on Facebook though.

Story Creator Pro is a extremely easy and fantastic app to use when creating stories. Pictures are easily imported, text options to type or write by hand, stickers to put on pages, ability to record the story are a few of the features of this app. I have downloaded quite a few different types of apps to build stories with my special needs students and this is the first one that I know will be a total winner and leave them feeling successful. There is an icon on top that will take you to other recommended apps and a settings button to share your stories and an about us button.  I am totally excited to use this with my students and highly recommend this app for elementary school writers and special needs students of all levels.

So far have found this easy and fun, and end up with a nice quality story product. As an educator I can see lots of ways to use this as a support for kids, especially for my kids with ASD.  And, I think it will work well for kids to create their own simple stories.  (Great for social skills and outlining expectations and organization)
