Story Scribe combines draw & guess game mechanics with a rule set familiar from the telephone game (aka. Chinese Whispers) but with the goal of writing a forward progressing story using a combination of drawings and written descriptions from different players. Each player can only see the work of the previous player and it is sometimes challenging to pick up from where your friends left off without seeing what happened before, but that is exactly what makes it so fun, when the story takes a completely different direction or equally amazing when it stays unbelievably consistent. I should have listened to the reviews. FIX THIS APP NOW!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Unplayable *2021-09-05* This game has a noxious amount of ads, and not the usual “Aw man I just watched an ad a minute ago!” No, this game quite literally, without exaggeration, has you watching two ads, every 30 seconds. Each time you finish drawing/typing you get an ad. Then after your ad you get a pop up asking whether you’d like to go again, which after answering, you get met with a second ad. I kid you not these two ads aren’t even 10 seconds apart. I played this game for under 5 minutes, and watched a grand total of 12-14 ads until I couldn’t stomach it anymore and quite. Stick with gartic phone, it’s got less ads then this hot mess **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback.
