Update: Please update your games!! I would love to continue playing them all with the extra quality of life additions to newer games.

Love the game so much!! So many fun features. The only thing is by the time you’ve made it enough to set up a publishing house, I never have enough weekly energy to read submissions. Even though I’m married, have transport and house, and maxed out Food and Health. Kind of makes it pointless! I’d be happy to watch ads for energy or something.

So, I know I’m redoing this whole review and not because it wasn’t good enough, but because I already figured out the problem, but I still have a few suggestions I think would Mae the game better. So, for the first change what if there was a birthday bonus for your character’s birthday? You could get maybe a free extra energy charge and a little more cash than usual! That’d help a lot and can you add more ways to increase your amount of max energies? And also, whenever I tap on the vet check up it always lowers my maximum energy amount. Is there a way you could maybe fix that because everytime I do a vet checkup my maximum energy decreases.

I mean, I love this game, but there are a few bugs and suggestions for the game, precisely three suggestions and two bugs. 

The first bug is that the overall rating is irrelevant to the comments. For example, it says I got four stars for my book. I celebrate, then check the comments. One star. “Plot dragged, needs improvement.” “This book is an insult to everybody at once. The grammer errors were numerous, the characters poorly described. The author should be ashamed of this terrible book.” Bad reviews EVERYWHERE. 

Second bug, you can barely keep your energy up, can never ever get the attention of agents, and jobs can barely fund your expenses. Make the RNG for energy more likely for +, make getting the attention of agents easier, and vary the job payments a lil more. Please.

Suggestion: Add an excerpt for your story, minimum characters 10 and max characters 1000. The excerpt completely determines the quality of the book, like character dialogue, grammer errors, depth, sensory details, etc. 

Suggestion: Bad reviews vary on the book’s quality, aka the quality and depth of the excerpt above. There’s no way that I just spent all my age basically on a “failed” book.

Suggestion: I believe I speak for everybody when I say, these review bots are annoying. No matter how much time and energy you spend on a book, bad reviews pop up as if it was the worst story EVER. Maybe let authors actually read books and leave reviews. I believe anybody would want not just bots deciding on the best book, you can never trust bots.

This app will become infinitely better if you add and fix all these, whichever Chimpanzee staff is reading this. Please, do it for the sake of our happiness!

Игра завязана на донате. Энергия тратится каждый игровой год (по ощущениям) уменьшаясь на один. При этом система игры (чтобы зарабатывать хоть сколько-то денег с написано книг) требует с самого начала вкачать по 100 очков в каждый пункт статов игрока. Для этого приходится работать на работах с оплатой не меньше 400 денег и тратить по минимум на персонажа (базовые 50 денег), прокачивая персонажа до 100 в каждом пункте. К моменту полной прокачки персонаж будет иметь в базе 95 максимальной энергии, при этом написанные книги даже с рейтингом 100 всех очков персонажа (кроме Virality, этот пункт максимум до 54 получается прокачать, даже если выбрать лучшую еду и хилл, то будет требовать 114 энергии для прокачки, что уже выше того, что можно сделать на максимум. Далее только покупать по 5400 хилл чек который рандомно выпадает каждую неделю, но у меня с ним только минус в энергию -1,-2, и никакого плюса), соответственно для полноценной игры нужен донат.)

I’ve been craving the past suggestions I gave this game. Let me tell you them shortly, check out my 5-star suggestions review for the entire thing.*title: SUGGESTIONS!* So, first I suggest a must-have for me, the next one is even more of a must-have. You write an excerpt of what you want your book to have during writing, max characters 200 and minimum 20. The excerpt determines the quality of your book, including grammer mistakes, depth, character dialogue, etc. And second, linked to #1, bad reviews are varied depending on the book’s quality. I just wrote a romance epic saga and have tons of bad reviews. And bonus third, read whichever book you want, rate that book and leave reviews, basically so that not everybody reviewing your book is bots. And yes, this is a lot. But I would love all this added. Also, I see a few reviews complaining about how they never get agents no matter their effort. So please fix that if you want to, Chimpanzee!<3

So, I have been playing for a week now (beat the game twice) A few complaints though when I restart after I vault from my previous life. It doesn’t always save all the money I deposited.


Also maintaining energy has been a struggle. Ive been able to be in the top 100’s after the annual checkup. It just goes down too quickly.
Suggestion: Maybe make the energy go down every 2 years instead of every 1 year would definitely help. The annual checkups don’t help too much considering they always give you -1 -2 etc. Maybe make the rng better on those to be in the +

Other than that it’s a great game really addictive would consider downloading. It’s kinda complicated at first, but that’s what makes it immersive. Overall a 5 star game❤️.

It’s okay but WAY too grindy. I downloaded this one because rap star was awesome, but this one isn’t great. Properties don’t give rent, cars seem worthless, why buy a car that depreciates and pay insurance weekly? What’s the gain? It doesn’t explain it

Unless you are willing to spend money to get unlimited energy you will literally slowly pay for your own energy to decrease throughout the game. Not only that but it is virtually impossible to get a book published. I can have 89 quality and 90 artwork and pitch it to a 55 rating publisher and they will turn it down every single time. Even if the book matches the types of books the publisher puts out they will still decline it. It’s a very cool game but unless you spend money it’s a waste of time.

It's clearly intentional that this dev wants you to pay to have a permanent energy upgrade because 20 times in a row. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.I have been hit with -2 energy from having to pay earned money in the game to evaluate my energy level. That is a crock. if you're paying rather than skipping the energy evaluation then you should have a better chance to improve your energy level especially if you're doing other things like being healthy and eating good food. Nothing in the game is directly seem connected to one another. which makes it an awful life Sam except for the dev of wanting IAP money to push the energy level.

There’s no clear tutorials or anything. Without knowing how the app works, it makes things frustrating and unsatisfying.

Over 3 hours of playing spend money on upgrades, makes consistent self published 5 star rated stories but can never get an agent. Also, top 90% percentile in short stories. I’m really convinced this is all just randomized because virality just randomly generates every single time. How does an author with everything maxed out get bottomed out in viral? Makes no sense. They left this game to slowly break. :(

Out of all the life simulators you’ve created this one is by far my favorite! It’s the one I always come back to and I wish there was an update to add in some of the same features in your other games. I think I saw somewhere, you say that it just wasn’t popular so you stopped updating or something like that but people still love this game!!

AMAZING GAME. i really really love this, especially the fact that i love writing and how i can basically do anything to increase my fame is pretty amazing. some suggestions are that, even though it might be pretty complex to code, you could make it so that the player can enter their own drafts and their stats adjust based off the quality of the draft and the reviews also comment on how it is, that way you could gain fame realistically! also maybe an import photo feature for the cover and a way to move the title or author text around. these suggestions are just, well, suggestions, but i think they can help the players enjoy the game a lot more!
