It does not recognize any of my files from StoryBoard Artist 7. We are instructed to download an email link in order to access files, but that doesn't work. The app all by itself does absolutely nothing. I am in the middle of production and this is really terrible. iPhone7 doesn't even recognize the app. ### 1/5 — It doesn't work *2013-08-20, version 1.02* I purchased the desktop version and it doesn't work properly as advertised. It has a few issues - bugs. I bought this smartphone version and it doesnt work either. It imports many of the images in the projects with gray areas covering part or almost all the image. Both, desktop and smarthphone versions would be great if they really did work as advertised. Until then, dont buy it, stay clear from this faulty software. ### 5/5 — Super aid for Storyboarding! *2012-05-18, version 1.01* You never know what extra tool you need in your arsenal until your run into opportunities that need extra elbow grease. This app is perfect for what it does to fill a specific niche. Without having heavy and expensive fully blown notebooks and dongles, I can now just pack my iPad and StoryBoard Artist Shot Assistant to the set or rehearsal. The convenience of having my completed StoryBoard Artist Studio project imported into my iPad is priceless. Having long battery life and a Retina screen, the project pops off the display and then we can make any comments and move into the next scene. LOVE the Checkmark!!! Finally have a simple way to know something is ok and can move quickly between good shots and bad - plus having a quick animation or playback of the project is a great way to get back into the pacing of the scene. This is one heck of a great app - perfectly fits into the whole PowerProduction system of apps and software for superior storyboarding!!!! Thanks!!!!! ### 1/5 — Shot Assistant *2012-04-23, version 1.01* It wasn't made clear that this was to only to allow you to download from a PC to an iOS device. Just wasted MY money purchasing this app which is useless to me. ### 4/5 — Great companion app *2011-12-10, version 1.01* If you read the description you'll know that is is a companion application for iPhone and iPad. It's a great way to not only bring your boards with you on set and check off the shots planned on - it's great for bring to a client for pitching a job as an animatic. Portable, and sells the idea really well.
