## What is Storychest?

Storychest Features
•	Create stories with your favourite photos and videos.
•	Use the scanner to add physical mementos like tickets and kids’ artwork.

•	Tag people you know as Characters in your stories.  Characters might be other Storychest users. Or someone you create a profile for, like a great grandparent, or your new baby.
•	Stories can be saved before sharing and edited at any time.
•	Privately share with specific people or groups that you create. Your stories can’t be shared by anyone else as you own them.
•	Stories shared with you by other Storychest users appear in your Grapevine feed.
•	Comment on a story or add another photo/ video by sending a message in the app, to collaborate with family and friends to build a story together. 
•	Stories are saved in a timeline.
•	Browse your stories ‘by month’ and ‘by year’ to travel through your timeline.
•	Or search by Character, label, date or free text. 
•	If you want to share a story more widely, email it, or post it on social media like Facebook and WhatsApp.

Storychest Premium
•	Storychest is free to download from the App Store.  After that you can save up to 20 stories for free before becoming a subscriber.  In the free version of Storychest you will also be restricted to adding 10 media files to any one story  
•	Upgrade to Storychest Premium, our monthly subscription, for an unlimited service
•	The subscription price for Storychest Premium is GBP2.99 per month, or its equivalent in your local currency
•	Payment for Storychest Premium will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.   Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the then current period.  Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the then current period.  To manage your subscription, choose "Manage subscriptions" from your account page.

### 5/5 — Great idea but needs more development

This is exactly the app I have been looking for as the only thing I really like about Facebook is the ability to catalogue events that happen in our family and to share them with close family and friends (memories is my favourite feature). That was why I originally joined FB but since then the platform has become too intrusive and I don’t like being tracked and manipulated by algorithms! So I was very excited to find this app but my immediate impression was tainted by the fact it took me several attempts to get an activation email sent to me (it was not in my junk folder before you ask!) and my wife is still trying get an activation email sent so she can start using her account. We will keep trying because we want to use the app but others may give up if it’s not a seamless and easy process. 

I really hope the app continues to develop and grow, there is a expanding place for this sort of service in the online world as an increasing number of people are willing to pay for products, recognising that if they don’t pay for the product, they are the product!

Storychest is a fantastic little app. When my little one was born, I had all the best intentions of creating scrapbooks, sending him monthly emails with the stories of his life, but as often happens, the baby grew into a toddler and my spare time just seemed to disappear. That’s when I stumbled across Storychest. What a great little app this is. I can use it to quickly and easily document all those wonderful big moments, like birthdays, first walk, Christmasses, but also capture the little moments, like the first time he picked up a paintbrush, or when he first saw snow. 

The app is very user friendly and if you have family members who don’t have a smartphone, you can share the moments via email. It really does cover all bases and allows relatives near and far to feel included. 

Needless to say, I love Storychest and look forward to sharing all these captured moments with my son when he’s older.

I love storychest.i am a regular Facebook user but I don’t like posting personal material there as it’s so easy for it to be misused.storychest is the answer .all my close personal friends and family are members and I can post a story videos and photographs for ever which in a sense becomes the modern equivalent of the family photo album

Storey Chest is a smart app that enables you to keep safe your photos from special moments in a very private, fun and friendly user way. It allows you to share your very special and personal photos from trips, outings and special occasions in a secure fashion and selectively with close friends and families with the option to write details about them making the app more interesting and attractive to all. I love using Storychest for all of the special memories that are precious and that I want to share now and preserve for the future to share with those I love. It is private and I control who sees my stories. I really like that. 

This is where I share vignettes about my forebears along with their photos to share with later generations, my many travel tales and photos and special events like school reunions.
