## What is Storyfall?

Storyfall is an interactive fiction platform. Readers can play text adventures on Storyfall in singleplayer or with friends, on mobile or desktop. Progress is saved and synced to all your devices. We have stories across every genre, from science fiction and mystery to zombies and everything in between. Most stories are free, some are paid or have paid chapters - it's up to the writers. Storyfall is a marketplace. And we'll never have ads, so you can focus on your story.

Want to create your own story? Storyfall comes with its own story editor. It's easy to jump into, but supports advanced gameplay mechanics so you can build complex RPGs with dice rolls, randomized chances, and complex branching narratives. Your story can be as simple or complex as you'd like. Storyfall's editor is completely free to use, and you own all the rights to your story. Export it any time, both as JSON and playable HTML and host it on your own website.

Publishing on Storyfall takes less than a minute and is completely free. Have a story on Twine or Ink? Import it into Storyfall and publish it for free.

Storyfall supports multiplayer (vote-based and coop) games, advanced accessibility and immersion features like narration and using your voice to make choices, translations into over a hundred languages, both a code-free visual editor, and a code editor for writers who like writing code. The story tree lets you quickly jump between scenes, and advanced debug tools let you adjust variables on the fly and run scripts while debugging your game. Want to collaborate with other writers? Storyfall supports real-time collaborative editing and comment threads and discussions. Stories can have background music, sound effects, images, narration, and custom themes.

Ready to make money from your stories? Connect your Stripe account and set a price - on your story, individual chapters, or characters in your story. Readers can subscribe to you for free, or you can set paid subscription tiers so they can support your work.

Want to email your readers? Storyfall has a fully-fledged newsletter & blog publishing feature so you can keep in touch with your fans. We also have platform-wide forums, and you can even create your own! For instance - if you want to get feedback from your fans on an early access story, create a forum for your game but only allow subscribers to access it.
