Awesome app! A curiosity machine!
The app is a really fun way to explore your own stories! I tried telling the app a story I’ve told for years and I was surprised and delighted with the way it created imagery to bring it to life. I’m excited to keep playing with it. Definitely worth a try!
My vision comes to life
I love making my stories come to life. It would be much harder to do this with a camera. Just talking with the app allows me to make the vision in my mind become something I can share with my friends.

Give it a shot
Had some issues starting off. But, as I reached out to let Storyline know the issues I was having. They were very helpful and willing to help me out with app support I needed to enjoy sharing more stories and giving it a shot!

perfect way to organize and share memories
Storyline!
So good! We love using the app as a family. Recreating our stories in films. Like, stuff of family lore and our own takes of more recent adventures. Highly recommend.
Not Brainrot!
I’ve been using this app for 2 weeks and actually really enjoy it for a few reasons. 1) It doesn’t remind me of typical social media that has a bunch of brain rot content 2) My family really like seeing realistic art with their faces and I can make videos for them in 10 ish minutes 3) The design has pastel, calming colors that make me feel good using it.

my dreams
this brings my dreams back. i dreamed i was flying and i told the dream and then it worked. i saw myself flying again in my dream.
Really cool idea
I really like the concept of this app. I have kept a huge dream log over the past several years and I plan to use it. So far, the video it created was cool and dreamlike but it cut out crucial parts of the dream. I hope the developers continue to improve on this app and create a premium version that allows for more than a one minute video. Some of my dreams are several paragraphs and would be cool to see it visualized.

You have to give your phone number
Asked about it, and this is what it said: "For the iPhone app Storyline: Tell Your Story, Apple says the developer collects and links your phone number to your identity for analytics and app functionality. It also says they may collect contacts, audio, photos/videos, and usage data.
Their privacy policy says they do not sell your data.
That said, “we don’t sell data” does not always mean “your data never gets shared.” Many apps still share info with analytics, cloud, or marketing services. I don’t see evidence that Storyline is openly selling phone numbers to data brokers, but I also wouldn’t call it a highly privacy-focused app.
A safer middle-ground if you want to try it:
* Don’t give Contacts access unless truly needed
* Use “Hide My Email” if possible
* Consider a secondary number (like Google Voice) instead of your main number
* In iPhone Settings → Privacy → Tracking, keep tracking disabled
* Check app permissions after install

The best!
A friend told me about this and at first I was skeptical but I was amazed how quickly the app built high quality videos from my little stories. So easy to use, and easy to share videos once you make them. And works even better once you upload a pic of yourself and your friends. Vivid and beautiful. It truly feels like magic!

Sooooo cool!
I really didn’t know what to expect when my friend told me about Storyline but we have had an absolute blast telling little stories and watching them come to life! It makes them so fast and they are so wild and cute! Can’t wait to tell my friends at work about this.
Family memories
I love this app because I can bring memories to life from the 1940s and 1950s. I’m going to share it with my siblings and cousins so we can all remember these fond memories. I have even shared some stories of really old family stories from the 1700s, when our ancestors were a part of the American revolution!

Best way to revisit memories
I’m a senior in high school and this app came at the perfect time. The Storyline feature putting everything in chronological order makes it really easy to revisit memories with friends and see how everything actually unfolded. With graduation coming up, it’s a really nice way to hold onto those moments.

Fantastic Tool
I love being able to share moments from my life with friends and family through storyline. So many things cant be captured with a traditional photo or video so I greatly enjoy simulating crazy stories to share!

My Stories on Steroids!
This app is incredible! I’m a big fan of stories, both listening to them and sharing them. Now, I can bring my stories to life. I particularly enjoy the ability to share my stories with friends and family. I recently shared a story with a friend, and she was laughing so hard that she was crying! I’ve already started developing some fun storylines with my kids, which is a great way to stay connected with my college-aged kids.
