### 4/5 — Dark mode App icon would be great

*2026-07-15, version 1.76.0*

The app is great, but when using Dark Mode on my phone it is the only white app icon

### 3/5 — Possible upgrade

*2026-06-22, version 1.70.0*

It would be nice if the parents could make a post a tag the kids in their class to be able to reach out to the parents.
Eg: something went missing and I would like to ask the parents if they accidentally took it home. A post with their kids name tag would make life really easy!

### 3/5 — New privacy addition doesn’t make sense

*2026-06-18, version 1.70.0*

While I understand the addition of the privacy feature that means if you screenshot the app it doesn’t include photos to protect kids safety. You can still just save photos normally so I’m not sure what the new functionality achieves. Otherwise i find the app easy to use.

### 2/5 — Lacking in basic functionality

*2026-05-21, version 1.64.0*

The app is okay and serves its purpose, however basic functionality like the ability to save images to my device is missing. There are lovely photos of my child that his teachers post and I have no way to save these memories. My workaround was to screenshot the images in my phone but recently they disabled this so now all the screenshots appear black - why?!!

### 4/5 — Days count back to bday

*2026-05-20, version 1.64.0*

Hi team,

Not sure if this is the place to send feedback. When dragging the family page down. It shows the days counted back to birthday. But it counts from the last post. Is it possible to count down from TODAY?

### 4/5 — Works well

*2026-05-14, version 1.63.0*

Generally works well but can be convoluted at times finding stories and updates

### 3/5 — Love the updates, hate we can’t save our own children’s pics.

*2026-04-21, version 1.59.0*

A wonderful way to receive daily updates from our childcare centre, and love that comments can be added.

Such a shame and a pain that images cannot be saved from the app, these are childhood memories that parents and families miss out on during the day - so having a way to save them is important. The fact you can do it via the web but not the app is really inconvenient.

### 3/5 — Stories not arriving after update

*2026-04-14, version 1.58.0*

Edit 15 Apr 2026 - a new update has come through but the issue persists.

Original review follows.

14 Apr 2026 - After the recent update a few days ago, stories are not being sent from the local centre.

It’s a huge THANK YOU

### 5/5 — Dr NidhiSharma

*2026-02-08, version 1.47.0*

Good app and great for sharing details .

### 5/5 — Love the daily news

*2026-01-13, version 1.46.0*

I look forward to seeing Ava’s and Abby’s, daily adventures via StoryPark. They get to do many different things each time they go and have lots of friends around them. It’s great seeing there confidence building. Louise (Nannie)

### 5/5 — Appreciation

*2026-01-02, version 1.45.0*

As a grandparent living on the Gold Coast I love the daily updates on what my grandson is up to. It’s an absolute joy to see how the children interact with each other and grow. Thank you so much for offering this wonderful service.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible photo uploading capability

*2026-07-30, version 1.77.0*

Spent over an hour trying to upload photos for my daughters show and tell only for it not to load.

### 1/5 — Clink UI and missing features

*2026-07-20*

Had to switch from Lilio to StoryPark today and what a downgrade. Clunky UI, poorly organized homepage, can’t enable notifications for the “routines” section and can’t take a screenshot for quick edit/clipboard since the mobile app is blocking it. Who is that feature even for? I’m logged in as an authenticated user, why can’t a take a screenshot of my child’s photo? Lots of room for improvement in this already 10 year old application.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear you've had a frustrating first experience. Just to clarify, if you're the child's admin guardian, you can easily save individual images directly from the app, which gives you a much higher-quality image than a screenshot. Screenshot blocking provides an extra layer of privacy by preventing anyone other than the child's admin guardian from copying images, although it applies to all users. Routines are available to view as soon as they're added, but they don't send notifications by design. This helps avoid overwhelming parents with notifications or setting difficult expectations for educators. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback. ### 1/5 — Not easy to use

*2026-07-14, version 1.76.0*

Stores do not display in chronological order of events. Things seem to disappear. It’s not user friendly for any functions.

### 1/5 — Worst App Ever

*2026-07-03*

This app is TERRIBLE! If you have ever used an app before, you will not be able to figure this one out. Every single function is the opposite of where it would be intuitively and after months of using it, I would say it successfully accomplishes what you are trying to do 20% of the time. Notifications do not come through, messages do not post (there isn’t even a section for messages actually, you have to send them in the “community”. I would pay to use another app rather than use this one for free.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear about these pain points. Please do reach out to the team at hello@storypark.com so we can check your settings and look into this further for you. hello@storypark.com

### 1/5 — Screen Mirroring

*2026-04-25*

The screen mirroring doesn’t work anymore with images. This is super annoying as my wife and I enjoy reading them together and looking at the photos.

Please fix this.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for your feedback. Storypark has introduced additional screenshot protection, which can affect screen mirroring as a result. Parents still have full access to all media and can save content directly to their devices. If you’d like more information or possible workarounds, please feel free to contact our support team at hello@storypark.com and we’ll be happy to help.

### 1/5 — They stopped me to save my child’s photos.

*2026-04-17, version 1.59.0*

I am not happy that they don’t even allow me to screenshot my children’s photos. The main reason I’m using this app is to save my child’s photos but now they are just blocking it without parent’ consent.

### 1/5 — App was good now it’s not

*2026-04-16, version 1.58.0*

After the last update I cannot save photos of just my children and capture the milestones the reach which is very upsetting as my husband works away and screenshots were the only way for him to see how there days went. This should be changed to blurring out children that aren’t yours with the use of ai

### 1/5 — Dark mode icon

*2025-12-21, version 1.45.0*

I’ve been using this app for a while and the core features work well, but the interface is starting to feel outdated compared to the rest of the OS. It really needs to be updated with Liquid Glass support and a DARK MODE APP ICON!!!

Right now, the app feels flat and disconnected from the system's modern aesthetic. Adopting Liquid Glass would add that necessary depth and translucency, making the experience much more immersive and visually consistent with other premium apps. It’s a 5-star utility trapped in a legacy design. Hoping to see this addressed in the next update!

### 1/5 — Update

*2025-12-08, version 1.45.0*

After this update I can’t open the app.

### 1/5 — IA is messy, and you can’t even download images from chat

*2025-10-21*

Speaking of chat, the way to message an educator is under the community tab, which is so dumb. I found this out until my child is graduated from his first day care. Genius design.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Feel free to reach out to our team, and we’ll be happy to explain how to download images individually or perform a bulk export. hello@storypark.com

### 5/5 — Amazing!!!!

*2026-06-27*

We honestly couldn't recommend this daycare more highly! It has truly become a home away from home for our girls. Our eldest started here years ago and has now moved on to school, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to her learning journey. She absolutely thrived, built so much confidence, and was so well prepared for school.
Now our two-year-old attends, and we see that same love, care, and encouragement every single day. The educators genuinely care for each child as if they were their own, creating such a warm, nurturing, and fun environment.
The communication with families is fantastic, the activities are engaging, and it's clear how much thought and effort goes into helping every child learn and grow. Knowing our daughter is happy, safe, and excited to go each day gives us complete peace of mind.
We are so grateful for everything this wonderful team has done for our family over the years. Thank you for creating such a special place where children are loved, encouraged, and given the best possible start. We will always be thankful for the positive impact you've had on our girls. ❤️

It helps fill the gap of being far away.
Thank you Storypark.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for parents

*2026-03-17, version 1.53.0*

### 5/5 — Best app for staying connected with your child’s day

*2026-02-25*

I absolutely love this app! As a parent, it gives me so much comfort being able to see what my children are doing throughout the day while they’re at childcare/kindy. The updates, photos and daily notes make me feel involved even when I can’t be there.
It’s also such an easy way for teachers to keep families informed with reminders about events like photo days, dress-up days and other important updates. The communication is seamless and reassuring!🤍
