In that respect, I will say that the stories are entertaining and I do enjoy using the app. My biggest issue is the VIP pricing. I wish it weren’t $20 a week just to have access to whatever content I want to watch. If the price were more reasonable, I would definitely use the app more often. They do offer the option to use points and watch ads to unlock content, which I appreciate, but I’m an impatient person, so waiting to earn enough points or watch ads can be frustrating. Overall, I appreciate the effort from customer service and the entertaining stories. I watched like 6 of them and ended up canceling the subscription, as I had spent so much time watching a show to not know how it ends or when I can finally see the last few episodes. I also noticed even with the app fully closed, (the tab closed as well), my phone would say it was still playing at the top of my screen, I did not like that. Pedimos desculpas novamente pelo nosso erro. ### 1/5 — Big disappointment; Totally frustrating *2026-09-04* I downloaded the app because I wanted to see the end of a vertical which was behind the paywall. I am very disappointed. II’m glad I did not pay full price for weeks access. You can get a three $3.99 weekly subscription offer, if you choose not to take subscription standard subscription offer. However, even at $3.99 the content does not work or it’s incomplete. I don’t know why they bother posting content that is not complete and heavily putting it in rotation and advertising on Instagram. For instance, the trailer on Instagram shows content that wasn’t even in the actual vertical. And on one of the verticals I wanted to watch said that it had 141 episodes, but nothing after 115 episodes would load. further, when I contacted support about the issue, it boomerang me back a request to supply it information which was in my original email. However, I sent back the information requested, and I got the same email back asking me for information which is not only in the first email I sent but in this follow up email. Just a bot spewing out out a canned response. I’m glad I only paid for a week. It’s pretty much useless. The only saving grace are the live action verticals which are from other vertical apps - I.e. not their original content. **Developer response:** We’re truly sorry for the frustrating experience you had, especially after subscribing specifically to finish a story. We understand how disappointing it is to see a show listed with more episodes but be unable to access the later episodes, and we’re also sorry that your interaction with support felt repetitive and unhelpful. Some shows may have scheduled release plans or involve licensed content, so not every episode is necessarily available at the same time. We apologize if the episode information or availability was unclear and gave you a different expectation. We’d also like to look into the issue you experienced with the episodes not loading. You pay to be a member to be able to watch all episodes but almost all the series are unfinished! This is ridiculous and should get a refund! ### 1/5 — Do not download *2026-09-04, version 2.27.0* Do not download this app. Even if you cancel your subscription they will continue charging you and taking your money EVERY WEEK. I’ve been going back and forth with them for weeks trying to cancel their continued charges. I even cancelled my card that was first used and somehow they found out my new credit card number that was replaced and continued to charge me every week on that new cc number that I didn’t even give them. Getting no where with the Story Reel team.
