### 4/5 — Q’s for developer

*2026-07-10*

Great app but make sure everything is in the right order or you’ll have to re-upload and info again. Questions for Storysheets app:
-how can I rearrange frames?
-possible to swap out images but keep action and frame info?
-does this app work for Mac (15.5 Sequoia / M1 Pro)? The app works until I click "export" and pop-up says "Export Failed. Could not generate PDF. Check storage space and try again." I have enough storage space.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and for taking the time to write out your questions — this is exactly the kind of feedback that makes the app better. You caught three real issues, and all of them are fixed in the next update (1.2):

"Export Failed. Could not generate PDF." — You were right, it had nothing to do with your storage. The bug showed up when a project's title contained a character like "/" or ":" (e.g. "Ep1 / Sc4"), which broke the file the PDF was being saved to. The error message blaming storage was misleading. It's fixed now — any title works, and if an export ever does fail, the app will show the real reason instead of guessing.

"How can I rearrange frames?" — Drag-and-drop reordering wasn't working properly before (thanks for flagging it — that's the "right order" pain you described). In 1.2 you can drag a frame to reorder it, and there's also "Move to Start / Move to End" in a frame's menu, plus improved Sort by File Name and a new Sort by Scene & Shot.

"Swap out images but keep action and frame info?" — Yes! This is now a feature. Open a frame → Replace Image, and it keeps the scene, shot, shot size, action and notes — you just get a new picture. No more re-uploading and retyping.

"Does it work on Mac (Sequoia / M1 Pro)?" — No, this is just an iOS app.

The update is on its way to the App Store. Thanks again for helping make StorySheet better — please keep the feedback coming!

### 1.2 — 2026-07-15

Fixed PDF export failing with a "Could not generate PDF" error — projects whose title contained a "/" or ":" could not be exported. Any title works now.

Fixed drag-to-reorder, which silently did nothing, and Sort by Name, which ignored your actual file names. You can also move a frame to the start or end from its context menu.

New: Replace Image. Swap out a frame's picture and keep its scene, shot, action and notes — no more re-uploading and retyping. Plus a new Sort by Scene & Shot.

Thanks to everyone who wrote in — keep the reports coming.
