My niece is learning to read and she can’t get enough of it. Stories with her dogs, or toys, or some random character named Goobleck she made up — this app will make books and read along videos based on whatever you want. She’s convinced there’s a group of elves in the background that write the stories for her. My kids loved it. I did an annual subscription and it was very worth it. Love that you can turn all the books you make into videos. We played them on the TV using the Airplay. Great feature. So please share to earn! -Storytime team ### 5/5 — Greedy developer- money sucking app *2024-09-24, version 1.6.08* •You pay $9.99 for a monthly fee •$70 for the annual fee •and a whopping $199.00 for lifetime use You think paying that gets you access tom to actually create books or should. WRONG I understand people should be paid for cool apps they create but the rub for me is the fees above are just for opening the app and looking at the cool stuff you should be able to create but you can't until you buy credits. $9.99 buy 20 credits (there's other more expensive options too but you get the drift) • it takes 10 credits to create a small book • 20 credits to create a large book (which is not large) • & 30 credits to create an extra large book (which is definitely not extra large Then if the the AI makes any mistakes (which it made many for me) you have to spend 5 credits for each correction. I created a book and specified little girl with golden blonde hair with dark brown eyes. It has characters to click on for skin color. The main character on the from had ice blonde hair and brown eyes. I flipped over to the first page and the main character is now a little black girl with dark which does not work for the story because my best friends little girl has golden blonde hair with dark brown eyes. You can regenerate a pic to get a new one that you hope is right this time but it's 5 credits every time you hit the regen button. After sever photo regeneration tries I could not get it to change to what I had specified It has a remix book option you can click if the AI story along with the photos wasn't what you wanted.... but that's another 20 or 30 coins depending on size of book (mine was the large but not really large selection) remixed the book Remixed the book 3 times and the same thing happened every time . Second time it was ice blonde hair with blue eyes and some of the inside main character and horse generations were close to what I had specified but not all so I had to spend more credits on that. 5 each time I hit the button. One of the horse pics generated with a horse tail in place of two of the legs so definitely had to fix. Bought $9.99 20 credits package. Finally got the horse fixed after a couple of tries. Spent the rest of the coins trying to get the from cover page eye brown instead of blue and the hair right so it matched the main characters inside picture. But it's random so you never know what picture will look like until it's finished regenerating. I feel like it's meant to do that on purpose so you have to keep buying coins. Total rip off in my opinion. Images are ok but can’t keep up with a storyline and frequently altered in some way, especially with clothes and facial hair. Very bad selection of words and descriptions, instead of saying “he drank water” it describes every action “he picked up a glass with his hand, put his lips on it, tilted a glass and swallowed water” My 6 year old could hardly understand it… video function doesn’t even work and it’s just a slideshow, not an actual video - definitely NOT worth $20 subscription ### 3/5 — Awesome app but scam my taste left in my mouth *2024-09-02* This is hands down the coolest app for making stories my kids love it!
