My only gripe is that I purchased the in-app unlock puzzles and she can only use on the iPad I purchased it through and not on my iPhone. I would have preferred to pay extra at the beginning for the lot. Highly disappointing, I wouldn't recommend at this price, especially given the fact they're asking $4.99 for every story and they are very short. Watched it with them 4 times and they want more. I like 3D effect and how it interacts with them. It is. A decent learning tool. I was put off by the price - higher than any other kid book I've bought - but I feel it worth the price. I've bought 3 other of this company's books since. ### 5/5 — Fun book *2013-01-03* My 5 1/2 year old enjoyed this book. The graphics were great and the story detailed enough to maintain her attention. It is very similar to the other Grimm versions we have in our books here at home. There was a nice balance of regular pages to pop-up pages. The pop-up pages were fun, varied and related to the story (sort the gems, make a disguise for the queen etc.) with the focus remaining on the story rather than just a game. I like the app and would occasionally (only occasionally because they are $4.99) buy other apps in this line. ### 5/5 — Fun! *2012-12-31, version 1.0.4* My 4 year old daughter absolutely loved this book! After every pages, there are fun tasks to carry out which she was able to do. Definitely better than having the interactions on the page which can be distracting to listening to the story! ### 5/5 — Wonderful, highly interactive app *2012-12-30* This app is great! The story of Snow White is familiar, modified only slightly by the author. The interactive pages are great for pre-k aged kids and up- includes a page with sorting, completion of a snowman and a disguise for the queen, and a music-making page among others. I have several of these 3-D pop up books and this one is my new favorite.
