For example: I can ask siri to make a call with WhatsApp just by saying call xname with whatsapp and she will do it but I can’t do it with straighttalk international. ### 1/5 — International long distance that doesn’t work *2021-11-08, version 3.1* After years of simply dialing a number to call Canada, my long distance stopped working. Mice invested several hours trying to resolve this issue with this company and it is defective. The app simply hangs up on the number I call and without the app it says “we seem to be experiencing technical difficulties” Far too much time wasted with this junk service. My account on the straight talk app shows I can make international calls but the international app says I have a $0 balance and when I try to add my Canadian contact the app closes. It doesn't show the correct balance. I purchased 5 global calling cards with my Straight Talk rewards and nothing shows. I've tried support chats and phone calls to support and still nothing. Also the last global calling card I had didn't seem to give me anywhere like the minutes it suggests I should get for calling the UK. The chart says 5c per minute, which should be 200 minutes but I was cut off in my second phone call and the two calls did not add up to anywhere near 200 minutes. This used to be so easy...I need to call my mother often in the UK, she is 91 and frail. Calling customer support is fruitless as they blame it on the phone, and simply cannot provide a solution. I bought a $10 international calling card, which I had in the past, and it is not working. It could be the corona virus season and companies not having many employees...but my balance doesn’t show correctly after days of buying international minutes, and when I use the in app “chat” to ask customer service they can’t help and it takes forever to communicate back and forth. It is very basic, but I have been able to talk for half an hour uninterrupted. And even if you have balance it doesn’t let you talk long nonstop. It is great for the price! Until now, because I cancelled my home internet I got over 60gb limit and even that I suppose to have unlimited data, speed in my phone went rapidly down. When I called costumer service they told me that they fixed that and I have to just reboot my phone. Nothing changed. I went to Apple store, they ran diagnostic because I thought something is wrong with phone. They found issues, but not with the phone, with cellular provider!!! I was able yo directly dial those numbers. Now when I signed up for this winter, I either have to dial an access number first or use an app. Dialing the access number works but the app which is supposed to eliminate using an access number first, doesn’t work.
