The app glitches when first opening so I have to force close it then reopen it. Clearing routes doesn’t work either so it just says data missing. If I knew the devs supported the app I MIGHT spend the money on it but not now. Their support page says ERROR and Chat Support doesn’t send the messages at all. Wish it worked properly but I manage to make due. I’m kind of afraid that they might run the app and possibly use crypto miners and maybe that’s why the battery runs bad and makes my phone hot to the touch. Kind of upset if you can tell… ### 4/5 — Great UI, Needs Mass Upload Feature *2024-05-31* I actually like Straightaway, it's not bad UI-wise at all. The interface is very easy to understand, which makes navigation smooth and intuitive. However, I hate not being able to mass upload addresses. Please add that feature! Additionally, some addresses couldn't be found, which is interesting and a bit frustrating at times. I'm not sure if Pro is worth the upgrade considering the lack of a mass upload option. Just like many users have stated, it would not accept my phone number for login confirmation…calling it invalid no matter the format. Tried support 20 days ago and recently 5 days ago. No response. I have a feeling that the Straightaway team has jumped ship but forgot to hang an “out of business” sign in the window. And every time I click on next stop, it goes blank and I have to swipe out of the app and click back in it. ### 4/5 — Time window and *2023-11-29* When time window’s are added to a stop it should take that into consideration and not send you to the closest stop if they aren’t open. If the account has a 10:00am to 5:00pm time window and it’s only 7:30am the app shouldn’t send me there next even though it’s only a mile away. Also when you click optimize order it should calculate from your current location not the location you put in when you first started the route. I constantly have to change my current address so it will calculate around my location. Overall the app does save time, and is very helpful when I have routes in cities that I’m not very familiar with. ### 1/5 — Login issue *2023-11-19, version 3.5.2* The app works great but I cannot save my route. We used to use a paper schedule but there were frequent changes necessary because clients would have appointments or illness. Also, the number of meals per stop is not consistent. Straightaway makes it easy to capture the information and make changes as required. Since it uses Mapbox for guidance it works well even in rural areas. Thank you Straightaway for making this volunteer work easier for our team! ### 5/5 — Solid app *2023-03-14* This is a great tool for route planning. I can take a picture of my computer screen to auto-import my daily route. It’s not perfect, but it gets me 90% of the way. The app does have some bugs, and the Mapbox mapping is good, but it has sent me to the wrong address more than once. Right now the main issue is the Apple CarPlay integration - I have to exit navigation and start again every time I disconnect my phone from my car. Also, the “Next Stop” button went missing, so it’s a little more fiddly to progress through my route. This app is great. I've tried a bunch of the route planning apps out there and this one is the best one yet. ### 5/5 — Superb App that is a Huge Timesaver *2021-05-12* Used this app for the first time today to drop off gift packages to eleven families of my daughters’ classmates. After the app accurately converted the photo of my destination list to usable text, it located every destination flawlessly. I then hit the “optimize route” button and the app rearranged the destinations, resting in a savings of 52 minutes of driving. This is a tremendously effective and useful app for route calculations and optimization.
