## What is StraightCam?

StraightCamera helps you recreate great-looking photos with simple, private composition guidance. Import a reference photo, align your subject with the on-screen guide, and capture a confident shot without needing photography experience.

Key Features

1. On-Device Contour Overlay
Import a reference photo and StraightCamera creates person and scene contour guides directly on your device. Adjust the overlay, align your subject, and recreate the composition you love.

2. Built-In Posing Cues
Get short, natural posing prompts and friendly shooting cues from curated built-in content. No reference photos or viewfinder frames are sent to third-party AI services.

3. Fast Native Camera Controls
Take responsive photos with Auto, On, and Off flash controls. Live Photo is supported for capturing dynamic moments with ambient audio.

4. Reference Library
Save your favorite reference photos locally, switch between them quickly, and keep each shoot organized.

5. Discover and Share Photo Spots
Explore nearby photo spots, view composition references and practical shooting tips, or publish a spot to the community when you choose.

Privacy First

Private reference photos, live viewfinder frames, person segmentation masks, and composition outlines are processed only on your device. StraightCamera does not perform facial recognition, identity verification, face landmark detection, face-mesh generation, or create facial embeddings or biometric templates.

Community photo-spot publishing happens only when you explicitly select a photo and tap Publish. The selected photo and spot information are uploaded for community display and are never sent to third-party AI services.
