It made me re-sing in to Netflix and suddenly the profile I use for it was gone and it was making me restart the game I’ve been playing for over a year 🙃 That profile still shows up on my actual Netflix account but it’s not an option here so I guess I’m just done with this game which is so annoying. I also tried contacting Netflix customer support and was basically told they couldn’t help and I needed to find the contact info for the developer on my own which is super frustrating. **Developer response:** Hello, Jacksu8696! We’ll be waiting for your message! ### 4/5 — The game is fun but it keeps deleting progress. *2024-09-13* This game is really fun and addictive but it’s really annoying when you play for a while it reloads because you’ve played for too long and I was on this one level for a while and when I got to the boss I was about to win and the game reset. It’s really fun and I like that there are lots of different mini games and stuff. It would be cool if you could customise your profile a bit and if you could make private clubs too but other than that it’s a pretty cool game and it’s a nice escape, super soothing and I’d recommend it to a stranger things fan. However, it quickly becomes too hard to level up your characters. Once you get to level 140, it takes forever to level up the characters. The fact that your other characters can’t level beyond your lowest character on game table is crazy too. It has been a week, and I have only been able to level up two out of my five characters to level 160 where it will probably take even longer to level beyond that. I have done the daily portal, boss fight, radioed for characters, and I still can not level up. This is taking all the fun out of the game because I am stuck at a level on story mode and on the HNL floor since I can’t level my characters. I keep on dying. You can tell this would work well for a pay to play game because then you could buy things to help you level faster, but for a free game, making it so hard to level up makes the game start sucking bad. You need to collect multiples of the same characters in order to level up. You have to level up in order to advance and play. You collect characters by winning levels, but you can’t win levels unless get characters, to get characters you have to win levels, which you can’t do till you get characters, do you see the endless circle? One star characters are no help and that’s what you get most of the time and you can’t combine them to level up. You can “buy” certain characters with credits you’ve earned, but you’d have to play a hundred levels to afford one single character, but you need three of that character to level up, so it’s also no help. It becomes a pointless game and you can no longer play without dying immediately and now I’ve just stopped playing all together. I’m not even being whiny because I can’t level up easy. I’ve tried for weeks to get characters to 5 star level. I’d be patient if I could slowly play and eventually get there, but you can’t. Eventually you are at such a high level that you have to have 5 star characters just to play without dying. Now I just die and cannot even slowly get characters to 5 star. But why do we have 6 Ultra Dustin’s and no Ultra Jonathan when all the other main characters have either one or multiple Ultra forms? Other games promote “No ads,” and “Free to play,” but they don’t have the feeling and the theme and excitement that this game has. This game is one of those games where you can just get on it and play it for a long time, (Which I have done.) I just can’t get enough of this game. I also love how there is clubs which I love because you can use teamwork and work together to defeat the Club Boss. Sometimes I get on the game and just want to beat the chapter and beat all the chapters I can in that one sitting. It’s entertaining and the story aspect really does seem reminiscent of a D&D campaign. However, the story levels are far too difficult. Whenever I get close to the end of a chapter, the level becomes impossible to beat no matter how many characters I switch out. No amount of grinding can build your characters up enough to beat these levels, especially when most of the rewards come from the story levels themselves. The only solution to this is by promoting characters, and because of the gacha system, that could take anywhere from 2 minutes to months. It took me a month to complete Chapter 15 because I needed to promote my Ultra Lucas. Multiple people I know who play the game have expressed this issue, and I completely agree. Lowering the enemies’ HPs on story mode is definitely a good idea and I think it can definitely inspire players to keep the app on their phone instead of deleting it after a month of no story progress. **Developer response:** Hey, 호비 항상! It basically becomes a game of luck, no matter how tactically you play. Progression is impossible unless you receive the random card drops necessary for character building. Update: With a maxed out team it’s still impossible to play tactically, the dev’s should be ashamed of themselves. They purposely add levels which are near impossible to complete to give them time to add another chapter so you are basically playing a game with no ending in sight. Once they add another chapter they will nerf the sticking point so you can advance to new new chapter only to be faced with another near impossible level. It’s a vicious cycle of abysmal level design where they deny there are any unbalancing issues until they are ready to let you progress, progress to where? I opened a ticket for help and the staff member stopped responding after saying he was transferring the issue to another team. I’ve been watching worth my family since I was 6 and it first came out. Every season we all watch it together, and when I moved we would watch it on our own TV’s and FaceTime our reactions to everything. I love the way the characters are designed and as someone who normally hates the puzzle game type stuff where it’s all copy and pasted, this is a perfect way to put a spin on it.
