It’s like “Dice Wars” that I would play in flash back in high school. But man is it frustrating when the AI attacks at disadvantage and wins over and over again, then you lose battles with 2 or 3 dice advantage over and over again. Just watching my dice the AI rolls many more 5s and 6s then 1s and 2s, and opposite for me. Bad luck for the player seems to be built in even on normal difficulty and that’s a cheap way to bake in difficulty. ### 4/5 — Nice game *2025-01-24, version 3.8.0* I love this game however, they haven’t update it in a while. It crashes whenever you lose a game. Will not let you restart the game like it used to. Again, it crashes. But I still love to play it. ### 4/5 — Great almost perfect! *2024-09-03, version 3.8.0* I’ve been playing this game for several years. It’s a wonderful simplistic game that passes the time nicely… In the higher levels of play, it does require some real strategy. The one complaint I have is this. In the smaller maps, competition AI gets a little illogical, broken down and downright impossible for most battle scenarios. The AI competitors can beat you with a 2 vs 3 Army attack many many times and you’re never able to beat them when you have 2 armies vs their 3. Also, often times the three AI armies will gang up on you or ignore obvious strategic advantages by attacking either empty spaces or other AI colors. It’s a glitch and they probably will never fix it but it’s just something that I’ve noticed and recorded on video several times. If the developers are willing to discuss this with me I’d be happy to share my evidence. Again, otherwise this is a really fun game and super simple that has survived the many upgrades of iPhone to still be a part of my game catalog! ### 5/5 — Still a classic! *2024-04-11, version 3.8.0* I’ve loved this game for years. The online mode to play against other people no longer works. You can’t log in or create new accounts. The local game playing against the computer still works. ### 5/5 — Love this game... *2023-08-19, version 3.8.0* Love the new chat feature!!! It adds an extra dimension to the game :) But the app really the ability to DECLINE a game, as well as accepting them. [EDIT: Worked out how to DELETE a game you don't want to play... Swipe the game in the list and you'll get a delete button :) ] Also, it would be nice to have more than two players in an online game... and conversely the ability to configure the number of players in the SIngle Player mode would nice... sometimes it would be nice to play against just one computer player, other 5 or 6 :) In pass and play, it would also be beneficial to a) change the colour of the 'End Turn' button so it reflects the player colour... and b) move it between moves... I've found players 'accidently' hit the button twice, ending the other players turn by mistake. Otherwise, this is a MUST have game... it'll keep you occupied for days and days on end :) [LATER: I got a new iPhone today and went to play my online games... now asking me for my password. Didn't have one, so clicked the button to reset. Got the email, but the link in the email doesn't work, so I can set a password and thus can't play my online games :( ] Stopped working for Multiplayer game AUGUST 2023 ### 5/5 — My favorite app ever *2023-08-13, version 3.8.0* I've been playing this since I got an iPod Touch in 2008 and 15 years later it's still my go-to casual game. One request, it would be cool to see which color AI wins the game on matches that I lose. No fun. *2023-03-03, version 3.8.0* As the game gets harder, the strategy doesn't get better. The dice are just weighted against the user. No fun. I have run simulations that demonstrate the computer attacks or defends in a sequence of moves that have less than a 2% probability and yet this happens repeatedly.
