Cuss not a lot of people, will memorize states just because and that is all oh nvm when you fight I had 6 against 3 tanks and troops the troops were 3 and 6 tanks but when I attacked it did some damage but not s lot? Usually one after the other, up to three at a time for a variety of worthless ingame currency that nobody except children would reasonably purchase because you “restart” every time. There is no sandbox, which is why we’re all here. I did purchase a $0.99 pack because I respected the devs enough for the old versions and it EXPLICITLY SAID with purchasing that it would remove all ads and give me access to a sandbox level. Which just doesn’t exist anywhere in the game. I’m not sure if I’m more disappointed at them lying to me about the ads or lying to me about the sandbox. If they could just make the originals available to play on iphones past 10 we could all forget this horrible abomination but it’s clear the developers are in this to milk more than $1 from any child or idiot that spends money on this. Two smaller issues, the only gameplay ones I have considering its a near identical port of the originals, are the unnecessary diplomacy aspect added to flesh out a game that should only be a sandbox and the research tree that they butchered and made things exponentially cost more per level to bait you into spending money. Again, I’ll ask anyone why they would spend real world money on something that doesn’t translate over even into the next scenario you launch. So WHY prompt the player nonstop? I can’t even coherently write this review because everything comes full circle to the incessant advertising. One last point, and I find this hilarious, is in some of the little messages you’re bombarded with the developers come out and blatantly admit they’re going to abandon the game’s development. I feel like this company and IP is being held hostage in a foreign country and Herocraft retains exactly zero of the original devs that launched the relatively obscure brand currently being milked for no reason. I don’t care about this specific game, just update the original S&T Sandbox and affiliated games so people can play them on phones newer than 2018 and you guys can keep fishing for donations from mommy’s credit card on here. **Developer response:** We're sorry for your disappointing experience and the issues with ads and sandbox mode. I recently found out they made an updated game, and immediately jumped at it. The nostalgia I got commanding armies, the UI is a little different, but it still hits the same. I got to the point where I unlocked all countries and Asia by hand (took me a couple of years). When the compatibility was discontinued I moved on, until I found this game. I love how I can make my own alliances, it’s more in depth, more strategic, and how many different maps there are. It makes me so happy to see how much this game has progressed. What would make me really happy is if there was a multiplayer feature enabled. Now it does NOT have to be an online multiplayer, I’m saying like a pass and play. Me and my friend would LOVE to just sit here and do that. Even better if we could play online.
