## What is StraUpload?

Upload files from GPS trackers to Strava. Currently StraUpload supports GPX, TCX and FIT files.

If the filetype to upload is gpx then StraUpload will attempt to discover the activity name from the GPX file. If the upload type is tcx or fit then the activity name will be based on the filename.

It is possible to choose a number of different Strava activity types, or let Strava decide based upon the content of the file.

Strava supports a whole bunch of sport types such as Velomobile, but this app only provides a small number. Why are so many sport types ignored by this app?

Bought to transfer Ski Tracks daily ski data to Strava in order to share with friends. Initially tried the alpine ski option in strata but this counts chairlift rides as climbs. Bought this app thinking it would transfer accurate data but it does the same as Strava and gives incorrect results. Cheap but total waste of money. Why can’t it do what’s on the tin.

**Developer response:** I am sorry that you feel that you wasted your money. However this app never claimed to process the data, it just simply uploads a GPX file to Strava.

Makes it easy to upload from SkiTracks to Strava.  If it were able to only upload descent segments (so lift rides didn’t pollute the data) it would be even better.

If you’re using an app other then Strava to record your workout (such as Ski Tracks), if the app can export your workout to .GPX, this app will take that file and publish it to Strava.
