I have a zen stream and every time when I connect it I have to search up the address on chrome, instead using the app. this app never works out ever. I clicked the zen stream pictured button, and everytime I click, the app automatically turns off. I hope u guys can fix it up.

While I love my Stream, the app literally crashes during the on-boarding process every single time I try to click Zen Stream. Coming from someone who is a software developer, Ifi’s dev team seriously needs to step up their game. This is truly embarrassing for the company - there is no excuse for it to be this horrible.

I would love to change this to a 5 star review if you guys can make this app actually usable.

If it’s not one things it’s another!  The app is completely useless. It shuts down by itself when attempting to setup a Zen Strean.  Tried it in another iPhone and no difference. Please find a new developer that is qualified to write code.  Your app is plagued with failures unfortunately.

The app is awful. I try connecting to the Zen Stream via Ethernet cable and it delivers me back to the wifi set up screen without any notice. I can’t complete the settings screens before it again delivers me back to the damn wifi setup. Too frustrating for words. I can’t imagine how ifi has allowed this problem to go on for years. Completely unacceptable. Will look around for new solutions or product.

Great sounding streamer (Zen Stream) once paired. Highly recommend.

App feels rudimentary with lag. Long pause when selecting internet radio giving impression of non connection before music comes on. Would help if “connecting” status is displayed.

Pairing confirmation screen shows with NEO Stream but when trying to pair with Zen Stream, app just closes / crashes out. Seemed to pair after several tries but no confirmation given. Encountered issue on both iPad and iPhone.

Loses connection between device and app when changing modes. Only pairs when on mode 1. Not sure if hardware or software related.

i use this to control playback from an external disk attached to my ifi zen stream. I found it very buggy initially but now the stream is on ethernet it seems stable. Scrolling through albums is too slow, and it seems to splot compilations into one album per song. Aldo i can't select hardware volume control (only none or software)

I have it powered with an expensive linear power supply (costs more than the Zen Stream however) and it sounds extremely good, unfortunately the Wi-Fi connection is extremely temperamental and unstable (I have my Ethernet hard wired through a high end Ethernet switch…….. I haven’t given up yet, as it sounds great

The app is absolutely irritating from initial set up (the app or device’s wifi card(?)cannot seem to recognize data speed above 100mbp- i have 1000mbps). I sent back 2 units, then seller’s highest tech escalation person advised of this issue. I used ether and set up worked.  After set up, the app is finicky, going through streaks of disconnections during a single one hour listening session. Because of this, I purchased a WiiM Pro to replace it. The WiiM Pro set up was quick and easy and a lot of connection options ( except USB2), but the sound that the Zen stream produces is impressively superior, and very easy to recognize the big big difference in the sonic signature that it transmits to my Geshelli DACs, enabling depth, clarity, presence. I am selling my WiiM Pro and just tolerating all the issues with the Zen stream app because when it does work, it’s a thing of aural beauty.  The sonic difference reminds me of comparing Tidal’s  exceptional , highest resolution service to Amazon’s middling  high rez products. A:B quickly reveals the differences

Нестабильно работает приложение. В 80% попыток включения предлагает выбрать устройство, после чего вылетает. Невозможно нормально пользоваться. К самому приложению, в остальном, претензий нет. Но замечание критичное.
