Sometimes features work and sometimes they don’t. ### 1/5 — Trash *2020-09-17, version 4.6.0* This really deserves zero stars. I can’t even log in let alone use the app. Customer service is trash too. Stream2 is the worst streaming service! I wish my college would use something different. Whatever I’m watching freezes multiple times every couple of minutes & my wifi is never the problem. Right now I’m trying to watch nbc and it won’t even load! Other channels load but a couple random ones just don’t. Plus the app & website are laggy. Stream2 is 100% garbage ### 1/5 — Won’t let you sign in??? *2020-09-02, version 4.6.0* Trying to use university sign in. You sign in and accept the user agreement. Then it says “error😔” no code and no way to resolve it. That is poor coding. ### 1/5 — Time Vacuum *2020-01-11, version 4.2.1* I try to select a channel, it never finished loading”. I try to restart the channel/episode it works, but every two minutes I have to hit the rewind button to unfreeze it. The whole interface needs to be debugged and changed. It’s currently just a waste. ### 1/5 — Needs full screen ability *2019-12-19, version 4.2.1* App needs work and full screen capability. (Stretching so black bars are not visible). App no quits upon starting to watch a program on Apple TV, and nothing plays on iPadOS and iOS. App is useless and unusable. Good idea, terrible execution. Universities paying for this service should find another provider or get this for free because it’s trash. ### 1/5 — No good. Waste of time and energy *2019-10-15, version 4.2.1* App doesn’t load half the time. I click on a channel, doesn’t load, I click on another channel and it works fine. I wanted to watch a movie that was streaming, it had ZERO sound??? Tried to record a show and it wouldn’t let me watch it until it premiered again or until the full episode had finished. Very hard to navigate and the buttons are so small its easy to click the wrong thing and mess it up completely. Don’t bother clicking out of the show you were watching because there’s no guarantee you will be able to pick up from where you left off if you even do get to play it again. I installed it on my smart tv, and there are so many issues with it: (1) the layout is terrible and not easy to navigate. You can’t even see which channel you’re about to select when you scroll through them. (2) the app crashes frequently. (3) the sound of the shows I tried to watch was MINUTES off, and the shows also skipped around/looped parts. Our campus switched to this service this year and I wish they never did. Unable to stream channels we should be able to and the channels that are available constantly deliver an error code and do not stream at all. Just terrible, would not recommend to anyone. Some time the audio just completely doesn’t work and often will say “playback not available” which happens on multiple devices. ### 1/5 — Don’t download *2024-03-18, version 4.6.1* Worst app ever. It’s 2024 you think they would fix issues they’ve been hearing for years but no. It is not compatible with any device, our devices at this point are too high with our iOS softwares it just can’t compute - is my guess. It never loads, and on the random chance it does it always freeze. The worst app I’ve ever encountered ### 1/5 — need updates!! *2024-03-12, version 4.6.1* No updates in 3 years?? Why? This is not compatible on any of my ios devices, iphone and macbook. Frustrating being that college students use this and the app is so glitchy it never works, freezes, shuts down, and is incapable of streaming anything. Even after restarting your device numerous times, it's the worst. Don't understand why they promote this app for college students and it doesn't even work... ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-10-09, version 4.6.1* awful ### 1/5 — Channels not working anymore *2022-07-20, version 4.6.1* Don’t download this app. After weeks of using it, the channels started to no longer work even after I tried to delete and redo load this app multiple times. ### 1/5 — Degraded service *2022-02-02, version 4.6.1* This app used to be fine. Always has been clunky, but fine. At this point, however, the service has degraded substantially to the point that it’s almost unusable. The app on my iOS device is the best it gets, but only when playing shows that aren’t live (recorded or “restarted” shows seem to stream without major issue). Live shows are terrible on iOS and Roku. The app glitches at the top of the hour, each and every hour. It then takes many minutes/tries to work, if it ever even gets to working again. If you want to watch a live sports event? Good luck. TNT appears not to work at the time I’m writing this review for no apparent reason (during the middle of the hour, which I need to note, sadly). This glitchy experience is not uncommon. It has been particularly noticeable since August 2021 and seems to be getting worse. I don’t want to know just how much money universities are wasting on this awful, truly awful, service. ### 1/5 — Never works *2022-01-08, version 4.6.1* ESPN almost always never works for longer than 30 seconds before it says “video playback unavailable” trash App that never receives an update. ### 1/5 — Unable to Watch *2021-12-18, version 4.6.1* All channels say “We’re sorry, video playback is unavailable. Please ensure you’re on an authorized campus network to access video.” This same message appeared on two different devices after logging in the correct way. I’ve used this service in the past and it’s worked amazing then- not sure why it isn’t working now. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-03-06, version 4.6.1* I have not once written an app review but dear God is this app terrible, the method for channel searching is dated and unclear, the details of what you want to watch don’t even show up until you click on it, not to mention that whatever you want to watch freezes every 10 seconds ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2021-02-02, version 4.6.1* If I could I would give this app no stars at all! After creating a profile on mycampusvideo.com I am unable to login to the app, but the credentials work just fine on the website. Registered a complaint with their customer service, it’s been more than a week since I registered the complaint, the issue still persists. Anyway after looking at other reviews here I am sure the issue will never get resolved.
