### 5/5 — Problem connecting on ipad

*2024-12-17, version 4.8.0*

App fails to connect on ipad, shuts down, and retries in an infinite loop.

### 5/5 — Amazing Support

*2024-08-01, version 4.1.0*

We are a school trying everything to get a live stream on YouTube of our beehives. Curtis was fantastic. We have been working on this for months and he was able to solve all the issues we are having and seamlessly stream without using multiple avenues.

### 4/5 — Wake from background broken

*2024-07-31, version 4.0.0*

With a 4 camera group, rotated landscape, works fine. However, if I then go to do anything else in any other app, then come back to it, only the left 2 cameras are streaming. The right 2 cameras are frozen (camera date/time never updates). Have to quit and relaunch this app, which seems to defeat the purpose of leaving one app running while checking another. And it’s not the cameras: 2x each of 2 models, top left and bottom right both same indoor, top right and bottom left both same outdoor. They work fine when first launched, but only if I never touch this app again.

### 5/5 — Incredible! Better than camera manufacturer’s app!

*2024-07-09, version 3.19.1*

Streamie saved us! At a business running Meraki cameras where the manufacturer provides an app for a security display so the office can keep the business secure. Unfortunately the app they provide for the Apple TV has such high latency, 10-16 seconds, that a bad actor could be inside the building before they even show up on the display. Totally useless. Enter Streamie, and all the problems are solved! Meraki cameras now support RTSP and Streamie replicated the exact same video wall to fill our security display, only now there is zero latency. In fact, Streamie is playing the video faster than what we can see in the desktop browser on the manufacturer dashboard. It’s amazing! This is seriously a fantastic app. Thank you to the developers!!!

### 5/5 — Solid streaming app with a lot of functionality

*2024-06-01, version 3.18.2*

Relatively new to the app, but I installed this looking for an easy way to broadcast some Reolink cameras to TVs within our home and it delivers everything I need and more.

The setup was quick and easy and the quality of the streams top notch. Now, anywhere in our home we can quickly get a view of our outdoor space and ensure we don’t have any little ones out around the pool.

Thanks to the people behind Streamie. It’s been a great experience so far and the utility this brings to our home is exactly what we were looking for.

### 5/5 — Great app for monitoring and recording security cameras

*2024-05-24, version 3.18.2*

Let me start by saying I stumbled upon Streamier because the app I was using would not work with my Unifi Protect setup. Streamie just worked, and it 'talks' to Unifi Protect natively which opens up a lot more options. I can now very easily monitor my home cameras and add any additional camera as long as it is a support stream type Streamie understands.

There is a learning curve, like any new software, stick with it and you will be impressed!

The support for the application is top notch!

### 5/5 — Got it going quickly.

*2024-02-28, version 3.18.0*

SwannView seems to have turned my camera system into abandonware. Now I have an alternative.

### 5/5 — Wish I could give 6 for customer service

*2023-11-17, version 3.17.0*

Very happy with the help I get from Curtis. He helped me set up a livestream for my next camera to play on YouTube. Works great for my needs. His emails were very speedy and kept me apprised of the troubleshooting he was performing.

### 5/5 — App works well and works on H.265 cameras as well.

*2023-11-02, version 3.17.0*

Some IP cameras no longer support H.264. Streamie has worked well for me on H.265 cameras as well. Whole family uses it. Very good app and highly recommended.

### 5/5 — "Streamie: My Lifeline in a Difficult Situation!"

*2023-08-03, version 3.15.3*

Living next to a troublesome neighbor, I often found myself feeling unsafe and anxious. But thanks to Streamie, I’ve regained my sense of security and peace. This incredible app has transformed my iPhone into a powerful surveillance tool, allowing me to monitor my home around the clock and providing me with the much-needed reassurance I was seeking.
One of the biggest challenges of my situation was unpredictable behavior next door. But with Streamie's motion detection feature, I am alerted instantly whenever there is any unusual activity in my yard. The audible alerts on my phone mean I'm immediately aware of what's happening, even when I'm not directly watching the feeds.
The 24/7 recording feature is another godsend. No matter where I am or what time it is, Streamie is constantly recording the feed from my cameras to my local NAS. I can easily review the footage whenever I need to, giving me a sense of control over my situation and providing solid evidence if needed.
Compatibility with a wide range of cameras was also a crucial factor for me. I use a mixture of Google Nest and other ONVIF-compatible cameras around my property, and Streamie integrates flawlessly with all of them. It's a relief not having to switch between multiple apps; everything I need is right there in Streamie.
Despite the complexity of my situation, Streamie's user interface is wonderfully simple and intuitive. I found it effortless to set up and navigate the app. Plus, I love that I can sync my settings across devices. Whether I'm using my iPhone, iPad, or even my Apple TV, I have the same consistent, user-friendly experience.
I must also mention Streamie's integration with Hubitat. This feature allows me to get event notifications on my Apple TV, which adds an extra level of security and convenience. For example, if a door opens or a light turns on unexpectedly, I'm notified immediately.
In summary, Streamie has been a literal lifeline for me, turning a challenging situation into a manageable one. It has empowered me to take control of my safety, providing an intuitive, reliable, and powerful surveillance tool right in my pocket. If you're seeking peace of mind and a reliable security solution, I can't recommend Streamie enough!

### 5/5 — Must have!

*2023-06-11*

Streamie has made monitoring my home security cameras a breeze! As someone who values convenience and ease of use, this app ticks all the right boxes. Setting up and managing my IP cameras has never been easier, thanks to Streamie's intuitive interface and wide camera compatibility.

With Streamie, I no longer have to deal with multiple apps for my cameras. Whether it's my Google Nest, HomeKit, or ONVIF-compatible cameras, Streamie seamlessly integrates with all of them. It's a relief to have all my camera feeds consolidated in one place, making it convenient to keep an eye on everything.

The video and audio quality delivered by Streamie are impressive. I can see clear, detailed images and hear the audio with great clarity. The app's support for various video codecs ensures smooth streaming, while the audio codec support allows me to capture and listen to important sounds or conversations.

One feature I find incredibly useful is the ability to synchronize settings across all my devices. Whether I'm using my iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, my camera configurations and preferences remain consistent. It saves me time and effort, ensuring a hassle-free experience when setting up and accessing my cameras from different devices.

The motion detection feature is a great addition to Streamie. Whenever motion is detected by my cameras, the app notifies me audibly. It's a fantastic way to stay aware of any activity around my home, especially when I'm not actively monitoring the feeds. I also appreciate the integration with Hubitat, which allows me to receive event notifications directly on my Apple TV.

In summary, Streamie has simplified my home security monitoring. Its user-friendly interface, seamless camera integration, excellent video and audio quality, and the convenience of synchronized settings make it a must-have app for anyone looking for a reliable and straightforward solution to monitor their security cameras. Streamie has truly simplified my security setup and given me peace of mind. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

### 5/5 — Great for home surveillance

*2023-05-25, version 3.14.1*

I am using Streamie to monitor 18 cameras around my house on numerous devices. I have been a customer for many years and I have watched it evolve from simply an app to stream cameras, to a fully fledged NVR surveillance solution. For the last two years, I have solely been using Streamie for my home surveillance needs, replacing significantly more expensive hardware and software for the simple solution that is Streamie.

I have wholeheartedly recommended it to several friends and acquaintances, especially the ones that are less tech savvy. It is simple to use, yet quite robust if you want it to be. The creator, Curtis, is always highly responsive if I have any questions or recommendations. I look forward to seeing Streamie continue to progress.

### 2/5 — Crashes all the time after the last update

*2023-05-22, version 3.14.0*

Crashes all the time after the last update. Used to run in pip mode for hours, now I get about 15-20 minutes before it crashes. Rinse repeat.

### 5/5 — It works - Nest camera on AppleTV

*2022-08-28, version 3.8.4*

It is not simple, but once done it works - Nest camera on my AppleTV. The Nest app does not work on Apple TV since the Google acquisition of Nest. Streamie is the workaround. You have to write some simple code on the Google developer site and on the Nest Developer site and get 3 very long pass codes out of the process. But instructions are included in the app. The instructions require very careful reading and at least an inkling of how Google lets you write apps for their devices. Follow all the instructions exactly. But it is a perfect solution for viewing my Nest on AppleTV.

### 5/5 — Review

*2022-07-20, version 3.8.3*

Best quality camera I have seen and the zoom options are incredible. Not one complaint, company has this figured out!!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Be open and transparent

*2026-05-09, version 4.14.2*

Tell us what it costs before we download it!

### 1/5 — High, unclear pricing

*2026-01-03, version 4.14.2*

I thought it might be a nice app, but there is no clear pricing. The link in the app errors out. When I dug and found their website, the pricing page worked. Use of their app for a small install is $200 annually or lifetime lisc for$5000. Obviously overpriced. Too many other options out there.

### 1/5 — Internet

*2025-10-27, version 4.14.1*

NEEDS Internet connection on device(iPad) to even open the app?! Absolute “no” for me. I refuse to allow internet connectivity on personal CCTV networks. cya Streamie

### 1/5 — Did not work for me

*2025-06-11, version 4.12.1*

It did not show my cameras

### 1/5 — BEWARE (Bait & Switch): App Will Restrict to 1 Camera Until You Pay Every Month!

*2025-05-20, version 4.11.0*

I initially appreciated the app for its versatile camera and layout features. It claimed to be free for home and personal use, but this was misleading. Initially supporting up to 10 cameras, it caused dependency by allowing a broad usage. After several months, the app drastically limited me to viewing just one camera. I contacted customer support, thinking it was a glitch, only to be told I must subscribe or find another option – a clear bait-and-switch tactic.

Charging for an app’s genuine worth is understandable, but imposing a recurring fee for basic, local use feels unethical. If I were paying for ongoing services, like cloud storage, a subscription might make sense. Instead, without tapping into extra resources, the app suddenly restricts accessible cameras to force payment.

Additionally, updates have made the app more memory-intensive, leading to frequent crashes. This forced me to keep my main device on an older version. It’s difficult to justify recurring fees when updates only seem to add unnecessary bloat.

### 1/5 — Upgrade is crap

*2021-08-10, version 3.2.0*

Unable to do anything as instructions on the app. Swipe. Add. Nothing

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2021-05-10, version 3.0.3*

Do not fall for this app. It will load your first cam instantly without any issues. The subsequent cams they make you buy the app, at which point no other can will load.

I paid for the app. Nice that you assume I’m trying to use the free version that clearly states it will only stream one camera for free

### 1/5 — Don’t Buy

*2021-05-05, version 3.0.3*

Hard to setup and unreliable. When they updated the app I lost the setup I had for 4 cameras and lost the $10 I paid for full functionality. Attempts to get this fixed so far have failed due to poor customer support and I will not be paying another $10 or subscribing as the app demands. Apple Store customer service is a joke!

### 1/5 — Meh

*2021-04-16, version 3.0.1*

The latest update has taken a once great app and turned it to junk. The UI is so bad, it’s hardly useable, the connection crashes constantly saying “we are stalled”

Please hire someone with UI experience.

### 1/5 — Good product, shame about support

*2020-03-23*

As above... emailed info@ due to an issue with subscription and got no response.

Cannot restore in app purchase.

**Developer response:** Hi, Waga. I’m sorry you experienced an issue restoring your purchase. Nearly every time this comes up, it is because the app was installed onto the device with the wrong App Store account, which prevents purchase restoration.

We have been very diligent in responding to support emails, and I’m not aware that we ever received an email from you. Please feel free to reach out again.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nhiều tính năng

*2025-09-25, version 4.14.0*

Dù giao diện có chút khó dùng. nhưng tính năng bên trong lại rất hữu ích, mạnh mẻ.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal

*2025-05-29, version 4.11.0*

I have had this for several years and I love it, no lag, it just works. Streamie is the perfect choice for real time monitoring of your home, business or any other kind of activity! I love it!

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2025-05-27, version 4.11.0*

A wonderful service: excellent for my business’ security system. Very user friendly and the dash is customizable. I came from another system and this is night and day better on every level and it’s more cost effective! Streaming to the Apple TV and to my phone is very helpful as it allows my security desk to see (and hear) what’s going on in real time around the building and allows me to see the live and recorded footage no matter where I am. It continuously records and bunches time intervals to make it easier to find exactly what I’m looking for. Clips are easily downloaded for incident or police reports. Updates are frequent and the developer is very helpful for troubleshooting. I can’t recommend this service enough!

### 5/5 — Gym Security

*2025-05-24, version 4.11.0*

Streamie has been a great addition to my gym, replacing the Arlo system that was awful.

### 5/5 — Lingua italiana

*2025-04-11, version 4.10.2*

Ottima applicazione sarebbe gradita la lingua italiana grazie mille

### 5/5 — Great Platform

*2025-03-28, version 4.10.1*

Works so much better than the native garbage supplied by Ubiquity.

### 5/5 — The only one

*2025-02-12, version 4.9.2*

Streamie is the only good camera app available.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-02-01, version 4.9.2*

Currently using this to monitor 4 ONVIF cameras via macOS and iPhone; can’t wait to try it on Apple TV (have a FireStick that can barely support 3 :-P). Only suggestion at the moment (unless it has this feature and I’m missing how to use it) is to be able to configure this on one device, and be able to recall that configuration on another without having to manually add and arrange all the cameras each time (cameras are apparently not “discoverable”).

### 5/5 — The Best Security Camera App

*2025-01-15, version 4.9.0*

I have tried about a dozen apps to stream my security cameras to several Apple TV connected monitors. Streamie is BY FAR the best app available. Streamie is logically broken down into simple and intuitive menus that are easy to understand even on the first attempt. Streamie also supports connecting to network attached storage for saving live camera feeds right from an Apple TV. Once all of the cameras are configured properly on a single Apple TV, it can sync the configuration to other Apple TV’s with a simple 6 digit code saving a lot of time. The developer, Curtis, quickly responds to any questions and is very helpful. The app is still in active development and I am looking forward to discovering any new features added.

### 5/5 — Exceptional App with Unparalleled Support!

*2024-12-20, version 4.9.0*

This app has exceeded my expectations in every way—intuitive interface, seamless functionality, and top-notch support that's always responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!
