StreamVista 2.1 introduces a Free app with Premium, one-time unlock for the full StreamVista experience.

New in this release:

• Free mode now supports one playlist so new users can try the app.
• Premium unlocks unlimited playlists, Favourites, TV Guide and EPG sources, Video on Demand, Chromecast, AirPlay, Picture in Picture, and backup/restore tools.
• Existing App Store customers can use Restore Purchases in Settings to unlock Premium.
• Improved app stability.

### 2.0 — 2026-03-27

StreamVista 2.0 is a major storage, playback and performance release. This update moves the app to a new storage architecture is a breaking upgrade for existing users.

- StreamVista now uses a new storage system for playlists, channels, VoD, and EPG data
- This is a breaking upgrade: existing users will be asked to re-add playlists, EPG sources, and favourites after updating
- New dedicated EPG screen
- Added iOS Picture in Picture for compatible native-player streams when leaving the app
- Improved large-library performance for playlists and EPGs
- Refined On Demand browsing with flattened movies, grouped TV series, grouped links, and improved category handling
- Reduced backup and export size by excluding cached EPG programme data from backups
- Improved playlist, VoD, and EPG management flows with cleaner refresh progress and better navigation behavior
- Fixed multiple bugs affecting favourites, search, guide filters, playback selection, manual EPG mapping, and iPad layout

• Fixed issue where channels with no group assignment weren't displaying correctly
• Resolved favorite channels being lost or randomly changing after playlist refresh
• Improved playlist update handling to preserve stable channel IDs across refreshes

• Consistent channel grouping labels throughout the app
• Better stability when reloading and updating playlists
• Added AirPlay casting controls alongside Chromecast (when using native player)
