## What is Street Armor?

Never Miss a Street Cleaning Again.

City parking is hard enough. Remembering which side of the street is swept on the 2nd and 4th Thursday shouldn't be your job.

Street Armor is a smart parking assistant built to decipher chaotic street sweeping schedules. Just snap a photo of the parking sign, and let the app do the math.

How it works:

Park your car.

Snap a photo of the street cleaning sign using the app.

Confirm the rules using our fast, intuitive wheel picker.

Set it and forget it.

Street Armor uses on-device AI to read the complex text on the sign and schedules a local notification on your phone the night before the sweep.

Features:
• Works Anywhere: Don't rely on spotty city data. As long as you can photograph the sign, Street Armor can set your alarm.
• Smart Geofencing: Frequently park near your apartment? Set your home location, and Street Armor will gently remind you to check the signs when you park nearby.
• Quick Reuse: The app remembers your recently used schedules, letting you arm your reminder with a single tap in your neighborhood.
• Privacy First: No accounts required. No location tracking sent to remote servers. Everything happens entirely on your device.

Stop paying the city for parking tickets. Save your car from the tow zone today.

This app has literally saved me from wasting money on parking tickets 😂 I always forget the street cleaning dates or mix them up. Now I just take a picture of the sign and don’t have to think about it anymore. Such a simple idea but actually so useful, especially in Boston!

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-11

Your car, remembered.

- Park again and the previous parking closes itself. Its sign photo stays here for 30 days in case a ticket arrives for that day.
- More than one car? Turn on the switch in Reminder settings, name them, and each car keeps its own parking. Reminders say which one to move.
- Overnight cleaning hours (12:01 AM to 7 AM) can now be entered, and one tap sets "every week".
- Better reading of poles where a 2-hour parking sign sits above the street cleaning sign.
- You can now leave an optional tip. The app stays completely free.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-05

Sharper sign reading and easier fixing.

- Fix anything before it's saved: tap the street, day, or hours on the confirm screen to correct what the camera read.
- Edit saved parkings any time — street, day, weeks, side, and hours.
- Camera zoom (1x, 3x, 5x) for signs that are high up or across the street.
- Your sign photo is kept as evidence — view it later or export it as a time- and location-stamped PDF for a ticket appeal.
- Set home, rebuilt: use your current location, address autocomplete, and pick your reminder radius in feet with a coverage preview.
- A gentler start: the app now explains which permissions it needs before asking for them.
- More accurate reading of cleaning hours and "1st & 3rd Thursday"-style schedules.
- If Street Armor saved you a ticket, you can now leave an optional tip. The app stays completely free.
