Games are reliable and always fun. App is easy to use. And the fact you can play on your schedule is HUGE. Best experience I’ve had playing soccer in NYC in 15 years as an adult player. ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-03-08* Great app, players and game managers but for some reason I’m not able to rate players. When I hit the oval-green highlighted “Rate” button within Rate > Games menu my screen goes blank/white. I have to close the app and reopen to gain access to it again. My screen also flickers and automatically shuts down when I tap on any player within the Rate > Players menu. Suggestions: - Rating system needs improvement Player to player ratings are biased and do not represent actual skill level and instead prompt more of an in-field likability rating. Game managers or non players should take charge of the rating system to truly reflect a skill rating. I witnessed the opposing teams player carry the entire team and make up for most of their mistakes with good touches and decision making but had a 2.8 rating on the app. My team mate was also a solid 4 and netted most of the goals but had a questionable 3 star rating. Someone must have not liked either player is my only guess. - Remove/hide past game history Removing or being able to hide it would be helpful and provide a cleaner UI and help a lot when an spot opens up on the waitlist and avoid scrolling to find the open lot. Some players will open the app instead of clicking on the link. ### 5/5 — Great Experience *2019-12-04* I was in NY visiting in September and was able to play a game with you guys. The app was easy to navigate and sign up. The level of play was great, lots of skilled players. It was very well organized , down to Bibs, ref and goals. Getting to play it for a living and represent my country was a dream I never thought would ever happened. I feel lucky to have had one day of it. But if I’m being honest, some of my greatest memories as a player are rooted in the purity of pickup. I wanted to blend some aspects of the pro world I loved with the community, passion & culture pickup soccer offers. The Club we’ve created is for all levels, all genders & all backgrounds. We built something we wanted to belong to. Instead of creating it for a few of us, we built it for all of us. As well streets Fc games are not full.Since new people don’t pay they don’t show up . ### 1/5 — Unfair System *2023-07-28* Street FC claims that they want to help expand and growth soccer. They say they are “building the biggest FC” but they clearly have a bias for “advanced” players. The team captains allow their “friends” to hop in and play back to back games without saying anything. However, if anyone else tries this on the app, you’ll get a message saying “you have a time conflict”. It’s really quite unfair for everyone else. How are others supposed to want to continue with this kind of treatment? You don’t need to take my word for it, anyone can drop by and just watch how the “advanced” players play in standard games thinking they are playing a champions league game. They scream and laugh at players that are just average, acting like this is the World Cup final. The team captains just stand by and let this kind of toxic behavior go unchecked. If Street FC really wants “advanced” players to continue playing then they shouldn’t be allowed to play standard games, just like players who are “average” / “intermediate” aren’t allowed to play “advanced” games. It really doesn’t make sense and it makes things unfair for everyone else who just want to play and enjoy the game. As things stand, Street FC have a clear preference for players that have a high rating. People who join for the first time (regardless of their previous football experience) are quickly dissatisfied with this system. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-08-27, version 1.6.2* Terrible interface. When it asked how comfortable I was playing soccer, I answered humbly. DO NOT DO THIS. The app auto-generated a 3.5 rating for me which I was initially fine with. I played one game of pickup which was fun, but my rating never changed. Now, I can’t enroll in the more competitive games due to my rating being too low, when there are other players who are in the “Advanced” games who could barely touch a ball when I played with them last week. The developers need to work this out because without an app that will allow me to play competitive soccer, it’s just taking up space on my phone and I will go back to playing free pickup using Facebook groups. ### 3/5 — Unable to use on IPHONE SE? *2022-06-08, version 2.2.5* Hi I can’t use this app on my iPhone se please advise? ### 4/5 — Needs more Locations *2025-09-08* I love the app and the idea of having regular drop-in soccer games, however i live in New York capital region and not in NYC (which is the closest location to me that is available on the app) but NYC is still 2 and a half hours away from me. I made this comment because their is a giant soccer community in the Capital region of New York and I believe that this app would be very successful around here. Especially for ages 10-20. I know a ton of people who would love to join the club and play some games who live in the Capital region of NY. I would love to participate in one of the games but again NYC is too far away from me. Hosts are supplied with pop-up goals, branded pinnies, and soccer ball(s). These games are a great way to play and find new local friends. In NYC there are over 100 games a week, of different skill levels. The vibe is great, there are few hard tackles, no fights, the captains bring the music and the energy.
