It only picks up tags when I scan them. I’ve contacted support many times but nothing is resolved. I believe I have all the settings correct. I have tried online and hybrid on line. I walked 10000 steps this morning, I collected points for walking all through the walk, I passed at least 10 tags, not one scanned. Easy to use and a great way to keep active ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unable to sign up *2026-06-24, version 11.2* Really keen to sign up but repeatedly says ‘player limit exceeds’ when creating a team, even after altering the name etc. I can’t sign up at all ### 1/5 — Can’t sign up! *2026-06-01, version 11.2* Local council is promoting this, tried to sign up but can’t get past the Team Name! I’m pretty sure there’s an error as someone else has said the same thing! What a waste of time! ### 1/5 — Hopeless *2026-03-26, version 11.2* This app is new in my area and sounds great fun, but I’ve been trying repeatedly to sign up to it with no success at all. It let me register a team and then asks me to validate, either by phone or email. If I enter my phone number, it then refuses to process it, giving the message “invalid token”; if I enter my email, it tells me to click on the verification link it has sent me - only it hasn’t. I was very keen to get involved with this. I mentioned in response to one of the council’s Facebook posts about the app that I was having these problems and the developer responded very quickly, but that was 3 days ago and nothing has changed. Pretty fed up with it now and may just stop trying. ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE *2026-02-26, version 11.2* I can’t believe how horrible and janky this was. I was just trying to add a single person to my team and there was nothing to help you along the way and it did not work one bit. It seems like someone put three lines of code into their app and left it. Few common crashing: - setting power hour - completing couchToPB UX: - the ‘you are cycling’ suggestion keeps popping up, blocking the rest of UI - offline mode/hybrid offline mode: why I built in a way that someone should keep switching it on and off? That makes it unpractical It look like too many features with too low quality has been added ### 1/5 — One month on…still a poor app *2023-12-05, version 11.0* Time to bury this app in the digital graveyard. Works well when it wants to but is a real drain on your battery! How is this even being promoted by schools as a way to get healthy when you are off setting it by charging your phone during the day meaning you are creating more than normal emissions? ### 1/5 — Really only works if walking *2023-05-01, version 10.1* Although this is a great idea in theory, it only really ever works properly if you’re just walking and even then it’s sketchy. I have done several power hours and it’s crashed halfway through meaning we miss lots of tags. I run regularly with the children and can’t click the tags for the children and as for when I’m cycling it often tells me I’m driving a car because I’m going too fast, so anything over 20 miles an hour is classed as driving a car. Just recently I’ve been doing power hours and it’s just stopped working, not loading again until after the hour is up… This is not only frustrating it ruins a lovely exercise session and I have disgruntled kids on my hands. I also feel it favours those living in towns so there are no polly tags in the countryside. It’s a good concept but poorly executed and once my children leave the school I will be deleting it. ### 1/5 — Nice idea, poorly executed *2023-02-27, version 10.0* The concept of gamifying exercise for the kids is a good one, however the app is poorly implemented, regularly becoming unresponsive, missing collecting tags, it doesn’t appear to have been developed to be responsive to users actions. It is a huge drain on your phone battery, and that’s without having the functions turned on that they say in the app will drain the battery. The user interface is poor it’s difficult to find your way around, and understand how you make points, or turn on/ access specific features. The overall scoring system is also overly complex, and poorly explained. Also when competing on the leaderboard, the scoring favours the bigger schools/teams. ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work. *2022-10-31, version 9.5* Poor quality app, has the ability to be addictive and helpful. But just too slow spinning wheel every time when moving between parts of the app. Review steps is open to abuse and is absurd constantly by people there is no need for this feature as all users need a phone for the app to work. This feature should be removed or policed properly. Shame as has potential ### 1/5 — Great idea just so glitchy *2022-05-18, version 9.2* Signed up to this to help friends children's school, seems a great idea, making use of walking, running and cycling however very disheartening when you cannot reach the ‘poly tags’ as they are on private land or you come back and not one tag has been tagged…especially running 5miles….
