StreetPix was born out of my personal need to capture the moments under difficult conditions during a people's revolution from November 2013 through February 2014. I found myself startled awake at 3am on the first night of the revolution in November - I lived 100 meters from ground zero. The amount of content was overwhelming and I wanted to grab it all as high quality photographs and leave the sorting out and my artistic evaluations for later. You must imagine my disappointment when my early shots failed because for one reason or another during a shooting session I would invariable and unknowingly have touched the screen of my mobile device and some how would be in video mode, or even in some other app completely. Some of my best work was lost forever. In the time since that first night I made myself a dedicated shooting app so I would never miss the moment again, and over time I have continued to refine it. I now make my personal shooting app available to the professional photography community. It is an invaluable tool, at least for me, during the rarest of moments in time.
