### 1/5 — v2 won’t even let me log in

*2021-12-22, version 2.0.6*

This app is problematic at best, since the recent upgrade I can’t log in on ipad or iphone.

### 1/5 — Schwab is amazing, their apps are just terrible

*2021-11-19, version 2.0.5*

Why not spend some money/time making your apps as good as your banking product? Absolutely terrible…

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2021-09-14, version 2.0.5*

Cannot place futures orders. Just spins when you retrieve a symbol. Pretty worthless………. Would give a Zero if possible

### 1/5 — In need of finding a new options trading platform

*2021-07-23, version 2.0.5*

I have been with Charles Schwab since they took over Options Express I mostly traded all my iPad because I am on the road all the time I would like to know a different company other than Charles Schwab that has a decent trading platform for options

### 1/5 — Clunky, Frequent Crashes. Not ready for prime time.

*2021-06-04, version 2.0.4*

This app is a mess. Frequent crashes make it unusable. Even on a four month old iPad running the current IOS this app cannot place a trade without a crash and restart. The user interface looks like a summer intern created it. The options trading interface is so rudimentary it has less capability than the OptionsXpress web platform of ten years ago. It’s incredible that a company with the financial acumen and resources of Schwab could put out an app for “experienced traders” that is so fundamentally lacking in functionality, sophistication and design. The team that launched this app, and the executives who approved it, all need to move on to their next career.

### 1/5 — Order screens down again

*2021-03-16, version 2.0.4*

This is quite simply one of the crappiest trading apps out there and completely unreliable... trying to modify an order in it makes it crash. Thanks guys for not fixing for Months...

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2021-02-05, version 2.0.4*

This app is not the general StreetSmart one expects as runs on windows and Mac. This is some option and futures trading app. Unless you trade options and futures don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — I use StreetSmart desktop but the app doesn’t work

*2021-01-29, version 2.0.4*

Don’t understand how my account can be restricted and not work with the IOS app when I use the Windows desktop version everyday. Would also be helpful if a Schwab support read these comments and acted.

### 1/5 — Worst program ever

*2020-12-28, version 2.0.4*

It seems that I have made a mistake going to this firm, no real Programs for Apple, here there is absolutely no technical knowledge or any type of standard tools that you can use for investing. On my iMac you have to jump through hoops and go to their website and use a cloud base unit. These people want to be a first class investment firm, look like they are a basement level when it comes to their programs and trading platform on Apple products.

### 1/5 — Only for options holder

*2020-08-13, version 2.0.3*

Why?

### 1/5 — More fail from Schwab technology

*2020-04-16, version 2.0.3*

Ugh, I decided to try this because Schwab.com website is so bad on iPad (and they know it).

This is really junk. Slow, glitchy, and not customizable. Will not display columns correctly on my iPad.

Uninstalled..Thinking about changing brokerage when I retire next month and become more active investing and trading.

### 1/5 — Zero stars

*2019-07-31, version 2.0.2*

Didn’t even load on my iPad. Just froze saying “Loading”. Yikes. Be better Schwab.

### 1/5 — Crash-0-Matic

*2019-03-14, version Version 1.0.4 (1.0.6)*

Just installed on brand iPad Pro. Installs, launches, and runs ok once. All subsequent launches of the app end in immediate crash.

### 1/5 — Not available except to certain users

*2018-01-03, version 1.0.1*

Only available to “former optionsxpress users” so don’t bother dl’ing unless you have that kind of account. They could put that in the description instead of wasting everyone’s time.

### 1/5 — False advertising

*2017-12-19, version 1.0.1*

Apparently this app is not available to all Schwab account holders. Only those who have had option express accounts can access it. You would think that this would be made clear in the app description etc.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2017-11-09, version 1.0*

App is too slow and UI needs works.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Want to use but can’t log in

*2023-03-16*

I want to try the app despite it’s dated look and bad reviews. I can’t get passed the login screen. Devs, please update this app.

### 1/5 — Schwab doesn’t like their customers

*2023-01-24, version 2.1.0*

Why such an awful app?

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-01-15, version 2.1.0*

It doesn’t even work…says not valid….brand new iPad

### 1/5 — App is useless on iPad

*2022-12-03, version 2.0.7*

i just started trading futures and for some reason Schwab forces the trader to use a Streetsmart account. I am a huge Schwab fan, but a BIG miss here. Hopefully they will figure this out soon.

### 1/5 — Login fails

*2022-05-28, version 2.0.7*

I’m completely locked out of this app. I have spoken with Schwab support and I have an open ticket that’s a few weeks old. Not sure how I can login to my accounts on desktop and the other Schwab app while being locked out of this one. Please fix this app!

### 1/5 — Good no more…

*2022-03-25, version 2.0.6*

I have used this app for a long time, and have come to depend on it. I upgraded my iPad to iOS 15.4 and it killed the app. You can’t get to the logon screen. I have talked to Schwab several times over two weeks, and they’re “working on it.” I’ve been with Schwab for more than 40 years, and I would rather not change brokers, but need an interface that works…

### 1/5 — Leaving Schwab

*2022-01-11, version 2.0.6*

Not only is this app unusable but it just shows Schwab’s lack of urgency in joining the dozens of other brokerages in the 21st century. Schwab sadly missed the boat and will go the way of the dinosaurs. If they think younger generations are going to this “app” to manage their money, then whoever makes the decisions at Schwab is comically deluded. RIP this company.

### 1/5 — Not even as useful as Schwabs website

*2022-01-10, version 2.0.6*

I was expecting StreetSmart Edge, a great trading platform for my purposes, and this really isn’t it. Literally the worst trading program I have ever seen. Its like trading stock online back in 1998, but worse. It’s laughably bad to the point where the P&L column is hidden an immovable trading column. I honestly think the android app is volumes better and that is barely useable. How can Schwab not be embarrassed by this?

### 1/5 — Extremely Poor

*2022-01-02, version 2.0.6*

Clunky, confusing, nearly unusable. Time to start over.

### 1/5 — Bad app just got worse

*2021-12-29, version 2.0.6*

I’m a happy schwab customer but their mobile apps are terrible. The new version of smart street doesn’t allow for touch login anymore. Very very bad!

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — offers a unique selection of technical indicators on a mobile platform

*2023-09-02*

Where else do you find a Gann hi- lo indicator on your iPad? It was also running on the iPhone but was eliminated on September 1, 2023.

Worried that "changes for the better" are going to eliminate the things I like about it. Leave it alone or IMPROVE it.

### 5/5 — Yikes

*2021-12-09, version 2.0.6*

I gave you guys 5 stars because I felt bad. Street Smart could be a better TOS later on down the line I’m sure. Keep up the good work. Or else we’ll all leave you for RH…. Just kidding, we’d probably go to those old farts at fidelity.

### 3/5 — Not bad

*2018-02-27, version 1.0.1*

But could use some work. Having a streaming bid/ask watchlist is a huge improvement but it really needs larger font and a dark theme for readability. TD Ameritrades Mobile Trader app is much cleaner and more functional so hopefully this will pick up some of those features. I have to use the Citrix client on my iPad to get it customized but that is a pain to load up.

### 2/5 — Bad decision re: trading on Schwab

*2022-02-06, version 2.0.6*

Had no idea when I opened an account with Schwab that it’s Apps d not support iPads. Will have to look into another broker.
