## What is Strefa Parkowania?

Strefa Parkowania shows the paid parking zones of 33 Polish cities — from Warsaw, Kraków and Gdańsk to Kołobrzeg and Międzyzdroje.

• Where am I? The app recognises your zone from GPS and tells you at once whether you pay now, until when, and what the first hour costs.
• Zone map: coloured zone areas and streets, and each zone's details — hours, prices, free days and public holidays, payment apps.
• Parking: mark where you parked and until when — also outside a zone or with no end time. The countdown shows on the map, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island; up to three reminders, spread before the end, come before the time runs out, and a marker shows where the car is.
• A notification when you enter a paid zone — also when the app is closed (needs “Always” location access).
• Apple Watch: your zone and the countdown on your wrist, extend by 30 minutes with one tap, complications on the watch face.
• Parking meters on the map, and free spaces in Warsaw's municipal car parks with a line to the nearest one with room.
• Shortcuts and controls: park, extend by 30 minutes or check your time from Control Center, the Lock Screen or the Shortcuts app.
• iPad: the map and the details side by side.

Privacy: your location is processed on the device only and goes nowhere. No accounts, no ads, no analytics; the only connection fetches free-space counts from Warsaw's open data, when you turn that on.

Zone data comes from the cities' official information and is updated with app updates. This is an unofficial app — it isn't affiliated with the zone operators. Prices and hours may change; the information on the parking meter and the signs is what applies.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-11-04

Your parking cost always at hand, and more precise zones.

  • The estimated parking cost on your Apple Watch, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. It updates as soon as you extend.
  • Gdańsk including Strzyża, Lublin from the city's geoportal, more precise zones in Kołobrzeg, Chorzów and Międzyzdroje.
  • Zones where charges start later show the date: "charges from".
  • Your approximate position shows on the map right after opening the app, before GPS gets a precise fix.
  • "Report outdated data" in zone details: tick what doesn't match and send an e-mail. I'll fix the data.
  • You can buy the developer a coffee in Settings. A tip unlocks nothing.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-19

• Estimated parking cost – see what you'll pay before you park.
  • "Park and pay in…" – opens your payment app right away.
  • A reminder when the zone is about to start charging (if you park before paid hours).
  • Home Screen widget.
  • A note and photo with your car (e.g. "level −2, spot 45") – also on the Lock Screen and Apple Watch.
  • Back to your car: a line on the map, a walking route with turn-by-turn guidance (optional voice) or a compass.
  • A confirmation when you start a stay in a zone far from you.
  • Updated zone data: Kielce, Gliwice, Rzeszów, Warsaw, Gdańsk, Koszalin.
  • Fixes for the parking display on the Lock Screen.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-10

Shortcuts, Siri and Control Center controls.

• Parking, Extend by 30 min and Show car controls in Control Center, on the Lock Screen and on the Action button (iOS 18).
• Actions in the Shortcuts app: Park, Parking time left, Extend, End, Show car, Zone details. Run Park from an NFC tag or when your car's Bluetooth disconnects.
• “Open” next to a payment app launches it right away when it's installed.
