### 3/5 — Needs captioning. Some videos have mumbles.

*2026-08-10, version 6.9.2*

The teacher is terrific! I just need the app to incorporate closed-captioning for the exercises. I have asked for this and it hasn’t happened. Some of the videos have quiet audio and the instructor can sometimes mumble, which is where the closed-captioning would be really helpful.

### 3/5 — Not Actually Free

*2026-07-23, version 6.9.2*

I’d like to use the app but it’s not actually free. You can try it free for a week but I’m looking for a good stretching app I don’t have to pay anything for.

### 3/5 — Videos don't play

*2026-01-23, version 6.8*

Everything has been going great love the verity… but now any video I try to click on, doesn't play on wifi or off wifi

### 3/5 — Mid. Missing basic functionality

*2025-08-31, version 6.5.1*

Its ok. You have to do a lot of work for things you assume it does.

1) you shouldnt have to put somethjng twice to get a left and a rightside. If you want one side, you should opt out.

2) reording doesnt work
3) stretches should be meta tagged better. What i call hip flexor stretch, it calls something else, so you soend a lot of time searching.

4) no watch integration to prompt to move on with haptics

### 5/5 — THIS is what I’ve been searching for

*2025-06-01, version 6.3*

Unlike so many other stretch apps, this one provides guidance by an actual human. Sam, the creator, has clearly put so much heart and effort into creating not just an app but an experience. Well done!

### 3/5 — Cannot cast to tv

*2025-05-31, version 6.3*

I would love to use this app. The content seems great and it’s easy to navigate. But I’ve tried everything and I cannot get it to play on my smart tv. I am so disappointed.

### 3/5 — Impressed

*2025-05-26, version 6.3*

Impressed with Sam’s commitment to check in with us. My flexibility has approved so much over the last year.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-05-16, version 6.2.1*

As a 40 year old gay dad! This has been such a great addition of my routine.

### 2/5 — New version does not let me cast from my iPhone to my Google tv… why??

*2025-04-03, version 6.1*

It did in the old version.. why would a new version remove functionality?? the new layout is also not as clear and well laid out like the old one..

### 5/5 — Wow

*2025-03-27, version 5.9.71*

I have been using the app for a couple of weeks now and it’s fantastic! I have been dealing sciatica for quite a while assuming that it would be something that I would have to just deal with. Started using Stretch now I’m pain free!!

### 5/5 — No renewal warning

*2025-02-13, version 5.9.71*

It’s pretty lame to automatically renew with not even a week warning leading up to it

### 5/5 — New Favorite Routine

*2025-01-17, version 5.9.71*

I look forward to doing a class every day. Improving my flexibility steadily through a large catalog of classes. Engaging community of app users and the creator of the app, Sam, always answers any questions you have.

### 5/5 — Best stretching app

*2024-12-14, version 5.9.71*

I’ve tried every app out there for stretching and flexibility. This is by far the best. Amazing app and they’re constantly adding more and continuing to make awesome improvements. Love it.

### 5/5 — Try it

*2024-11-11, version 5.9.71*

Super easy to use and fun
I’m pretty lazy but have been using every day and it helps me with my pain

### 5/5 — Nothing. Just love it

*2024-11-05, version 5.9.71*

Love love love

### 2/5 — Flexible for everybody’s needs

*2024-10-18, version 5.9.71*

A simple look and feel of the app right off the bat which makes it easy to use.
Wide variety of stretching routines, even some challenges if you have a competitive side. M

The one downside that I’ve had so far though is, it keeps asking me to sign up even after I’ve signed up, which I have emailed the support team and hopefully they can resolve it soon.

Update: still experiencing it asking me to sign up for another membership even though I’ve purchased the annual membership and a one month subscription and support has been unable to fix the issue.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — price is crazy

*2025-03-31, version 6.1*

developers think everybody lives in us and can afford to pay these crazy prices, meh

### 1/5 — False advertising

*2025-01-01, version 5.9.71*

The creator graciously shared that he is gifting free stretch New Year trial for 1 month to everyone, yet the app required me to pay for a subscription. Will not comment on the quality of lessons since I couldn’t use the promised free challenge without having to pay.

### 1/5 — Worst thing ever

*2024-12-30, version 5.9.71*

I downloaded and it’s horrible
There an intro that’s free unless you want to us3 your money on this it’s a waste if time
It was a misserable experience

### 1/5 — Very miselading

*2024-12-29, version 5.9.71*

This looked like a good app for my needs. Of course, it was listed as “Get,” meaning no cost, but with the ubiquitous “in-app purchases.” I figured some content might be extra.

I opened the app, answered a few simple questions, and arrived at a screen showing payment option of at least $12.00 per month to even use the thing. Waste of time and too expensive for a list of stretching exercises. If you are looking for an app to pay $15.00 a month to use, check this one out.

### 1/5 — Why hide it?

*2024-09-21, version 5.9.71*

Not a fan of having to install an app and create a login just to see what the charges are. Most others at least list what to expect on their description in the App Store. I was expecting to need to pay, but I want to be able to assess that cost up front when making my decisions.

### 1/5 — Have to pay for everything

*2024-06-25, version 5.9.71*

So I honestly got this app thinking I can do it for free without having to pay because it never said anything about paying so I got it and deleted it I was ready to work out and now I’m just disappointed.

### 1/5 — Impossible de supprimer son compte

*2024-05-29*

### 1/5 — Hurt knees immediately

*2024-05-25, version 5.9.71*

The only free exercise that I was able to do hurt my knees, almost immediately, and that’s the only exercise that I can sample to see if it’s worth paying money for this app. I’m not going to do it because it literally already caused an injury.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPad Pro

*2024-02-24, version 5.9.5*

It shows a completely grey screen on my iPad, nothing else.. Tried restarting and reinstalling but nothing. Shame, I’ll be canceling my subscription since my phone screen is too small to see the stretches properly.

### 1/5 — Do not download

*2024-02-10, version 5.9.5*

A sham! Will not let me unsubscribe

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — First day

*2026-07-23, version 6.9.2*

Awesome

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

*2026-05-09, version 6.8.1*

What a wonderful way to start my day. I’ve been wanting to implement a consistent routine and this app makes it so easy. I love it!

### 5/5 — Keeps you on track

*2026-01-22, version 6.8*

Very useful with a number of different routines, whether you want to focus on certain areas or allocate a certain amount of time stretching. Really great and the instructor is super chill and relaxing. It’s helping me do daily stretches and become more flexible.

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2025-12-01, version 6.7*

Thanks for making a great app!! Clean design. Easy to follow. Simple and effective.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-10-27, version 6.6*

I love it so much but everything cost money
lol🫤🙃 and I did all the free sessions except for one

### 5/5 — Best Stretch App Ever!

*2025-08-12, version 6.5*

I first saw Sam stretching and showing off his techniques on Instagram. Then he offered a great discount for his Stretch app around the Christmas season and I thought this would be a great way to integrate and motivate me to stretch every day. It’s been almost 2 years and I can say I have never felt better. My chronic back pain is wildly improved and I can finally touch my toes! I haven’t had to see the chiropractor in eons! Sam adds new stretch sessions so it’s not always the same routines. The App now allows you to build your own routines as well. I love the monthly stretch challenges as it motivates me to keep up or catch up if I miss a day. Highly recommend! From beginner to advanced, there something for everyone! ❤️

### 5/5 — Great way to feel better!

*2025-08-12, version 6.5*

I am not an exercise person. I am active, but I don’t enjoy exercise “routines”. But I also have aches and pains, that get more acute with each passing year. The Stretch app is easy to follow and gives me short lessons that really help me feel better. Sam’s laidback directions are easy to follow and fit well into my busy schedule.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-08-11, version 6.5*

This is a great app to teach everyone from newbie to experienced. Easy to understand instructions, fun challenges, and practical programs. 10/10 recommend.

### 5/5 — Classes on my schedule

*2025-08-11, version 6.5*

The follow along classes have really helped me in establishing a routine, and have helped me to understand the interconnectedness of different parts of my body. Sometimes back pain is tight hip and sometimes slouching is a tight chest. I can say with confidence that this app has improved my quality of life.

### 5/5 — So worth it!!

*2025-07-07, version 6.4.2*

This is a great comprehensive stretch program with great classes, great challenges, and lots of variability on level. Worth getting!!
