Every time I try and use the Stars I have purchased conveniently the program freezes meaning I have lost my purchases. This has happened four times in the last 24 hours meaning I am out of pocket by a substantive amount of money I am extremely upset I have tried to contact Apple about this to no avail and to be honest why the app works perfectly fine until you click free watch a video it then freezes and takes the stars off you and does not resume again and does not give you your Stars back an absolute and total con. I’ve been using this app for over five years and in the last three days it has been an absolute total disgrace. I will not be using this app again. I will be removing it from my pad and I will never ever recommend this app to anybody again because I’ve been conned out of money Which Apple do not care about

Unfortunately this game has become tedious, 15 moves have started to give one or no stars, so energy drains too quickly. Everything is based round watching the same videos over and over again - rehearsals; 25 moves and more often than not they are double colours so again you can’t complete - 50 diamonds for 5 extra moves is ridiculous... because of the above and the fact that there is never anything new, has made the game boring.... also if you want new hair, make up, shoes etc you have to pay in diamonds, I think some of these should be part of the prizes - also tedious is the fact that you enter live shows for 3 days and gain nothing if you are not in the top 3, and then you only win one dress - very disappointing

Started well but soon became extremely frustrating. Takes forever to build up even a small number of gems, so never able to buy accessories which all cost far too many diamonds considering the small number you earn. Once past the first few moves, it’s almost impossible to complete a challenge in given number of moves - then costs 50 gems to buy more moves. Even then it’s rarely enough to complete. Energy runs out really quickly and the only way to boost energy is to pay. In fact, the whole game is designed so that you are forced to pay because it’s impossible to progress through game without doing so. No incentive to keep playing. I refuse to buy things when I’m being manipulated to such an extent. This has the potential to be a really good game, but far too money grabbing. No point it being a free download.

I’ve been playing solid for a couple of weeks, won week 3, and I get a couple of levels on one dress?? Really annoyed at how rubbish the prizes are. 50 gems to extend one game is another joke - this will take you over a day of solid playing, possibly 2 days to earn unless you buy them (about 67p worth to extend just one game). The ugly accessories are ridiculously expensive and you really need them to do well - the game even wants you to change your face for some dances! What kind of message is that? Stop being so greedy and earn players’ loyalty. Game itself is a typical match 3 but with the extra challenge of going for certain colours in order. Double colours will kill you unless you pay and pay and pay - I guess that’s the idea.

The plot of the game is well thought out and captures the essence of strictly, but the game is a bit too difficult, and sometimes the games are too difficult to ever do with the amount of moves they give you. All of the things you need to progress in the game cost too many diamonds, so it becomes tedious when having to repeat the same things again and again. When you have a dance move you can do to get three stars but you have no moves left you cannot complete it, and this is very frustrating! A few things need fixing but otherwise a good game.

I love SCD and candy crush so this is basically “kill two birds with one stone” for me. Great graphics. A couple of little pointers for improvements I would really love to suggest. :)
• In any of the levels (training, dress, show) if you are three gems away from your last star, and you have one move left, there is no point to having that move. As soon as you connect the three gems with your last move, it will say session complete. It really annoys me knowing that I have the last star but it would count because I ran out of moves. What would be great is if upon the last move being played, any dance moves yet to be tapped, would activate automatically.
I find myself having to watch an ad, just so I can activate what I got through the original moves, not even touching the 5 extra moves I just watched an ad for.
That is the biggest peeve I have with the game.
• I’ve noticed that the wardrobe department has very very recently slimmed down its accessories. Some accessories that I have bought have vanished completely. Diamonds are timely to save up for. If items are going to be removed and they are already purchased, either refund the diamonds spent on them or allow the player to keep them. I’ve lost a few items and have not seen the difference, which is a shame. I looked to see if the game had been updated to see if that was why. No such luck there.

Great points:
• I love how quickly the energy bar fills up.
• I love the rewards from each week and the gifts from Sonia and option to VIP.
• I love love looooove the graphics!

The game started off well, but they need a skip button once you’ve seen the dances 100 times you really wish you could just skip them, also once on a high level you can’t progress, doesn’t seem to be any more dances after the paso doble, yet there are many many dances that could be added. The last move is a wasted move and might as well not have it as once you’ve clicked on it, the game ends whether you’ve cleared the colour or not. Add some new dances and bring the cost of the items for sake down, way too expensive.

I’ve had this game less than 24 hours and it is very addictive. I’ve managed to get to level 9 in Quickstep and Jive, yet when performing in the live shows my score is below 20... Having 10 and 15 moves to match three stones is not enough to complete training, dress rehearsal and the live shows with moderate success. You cannot complete full move sets and you end up wasting energy. 20 moves will probably be better. There are not enough gems either to buy extra hair and accessories without having to use your own money towards this. I’m disappointed with my first impression of the game, but hope it improves quickly...

I love playing this game, I agree that the rewards for the weekly competition can seem a little disappointing and maybe throwing a few gems in for coming in the top 5 would help. I have reached the ‘s’ level and feel that there is nowhere to progress to! I thought opening the padlock would initiate a new dance. Hopefully this isn’t the end of the game but it is becoming very frustrating as it’s just feels like it’s stopped in limbo. No extra fans added etc. I hope this is just a temporary thing and something further is being developed 😀

I love this game although it does have its downsides, I think 50 diamonds for 5 extra moves when a dance isn’t complete is really high, for how often you actually get diamonds on the game it’s very high unless you want to spend real money on the game which many people won’t want to. I really like that you can watch videos every now and then to get more energy or extra moves, however I wish these videos would actually work, since the last update they’ve crashed my phone every time I’ve tried to watch them, therefore losing my progress in the dance and losing my energy, not good! Overall the game is a lot of fun and passes the time when you’ve got nothing to do, would have been a higher rating if the things I’ve mentioned worked or were improved.

OMG!! I have had this game for a year now and didn’t use it at first, but a few weeks ago I found it on my iPad and wow! This game is spectacular! Even when strictly isn’t on, you can still play the game! It’s great because it gives you free gifts and I have got some legendarys from a free gift instead of paying 500 diamonds for a box which has a legendary in it! I love the dresses and how you can take photos of your character in your favourite dress! The only thing is it won’t save it to my photos so I have to screenshot it if I want the photo! One suggestion would be if you could dress up your partner in the game! Apart from that, a brilliant app!!

I love this game it makes me want to play it all the time. it’s all about thinking what is the better way to do it and just to say you can choose from men or women. You use diamonds to buy hair, necklaces, ear rings, hats, hair colours and you don’t need to spend 1off them on dresses you get them from free gifts well you can pay for them if you want. There is a leader board for every week  and if you come 1,2 or 3 you get a legendary dress is you come 10,9,8,7,6,5or4 you will get a rare dress I love it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I absolutely love this game. I’ve been playing for practically a year (it really improves your logic!!) and at first I was really impatient at the fact that the accessories were way too much money, but I find that in time you are able to buy more things to less expense as you progress. The shop for gems is really expensive however I except this because they are always doing really good sales, but I do feel that it should be ten gems for extra moves instead of fifty. Also, one perhaps you could do an online chat to the people you play against?

This game is honestly one of my favourites on the App Store. The music is great, the concept is good & it really reflects the fun of the show in game format. The only problem is why is this game no longer updated?? There’s a bug on the part where you can earn fans but solving a dilemma that will never be fixed. I don’t get why a game this good about a show as popular as strictly would not be worth being on top of? This is what I want my licence fee used for not the wages of the questionable tv presenters!

As much as this is a wonderful game there are few let downs,one of them are when I play and I’m like 5min in it’s goes black loads and then I have to do everything again.
Even though there are a few let downs I rated this game a 4 for gameplay and quality. I would like to say I’m proud and impressed of what this creator and people who helped can do. It’s a wonderful game and the people who helped and made it should be very proud of them selves.

Over all the game is amazing but when you run out of energy you need to pay gems the currency of the game and considering how many you get on a daily basis is very annoying you have to wait or pay and it’s getting to the point were after I do anything I run out of energy second the game has to many ads after every dance I get an ad and it’s very irritating. In the game items and dresses are way to expensive to be honest I feel like they want you to spend your gems on the dresses so when you run out of energy you have to watch and ad pay or wait . It takes way to long just to get to the live performance .I love the game itself but there are a few things to fix.

I love this game but there are a few drawbacks. As many of the other reviews have said, you have to pay 50 diamonds just to finish a session when you only need a move or two to finish. This means you you can never save enough diamonds to buy the very expensive accessories so you then can’t advance. This is just a ploy to get you to buy diamonds but I have a rule of never paying for things in games especially with the current economic climate. Also, you get the first three dances (quick step, tango and jive) but you have to pay £9.99 for the other dances. I can see I will get bored and delete the game eventually which is a shame.

This game is brilliant. I enjoy playing it so much however every now and then when you need just one more move you either pay 50 gems or watch a video. Every time I try to watch one of the adverts it freezes within a matter of seconds, to the extent that I have to actually close the entire app and reopen it so I don’t get my stars to go to dress rehearsal but my energy still goes down every time. I never had this issue up until perhaps the past week or two now every advert does not actually play and wastes my energy without giving me the extra moves. Other than that a brilliant game, very enjoyable

Very colourful game with good graphics that captures the essence of Strictly. Love collecting the dresses, and reaching new levels to unlock new dance steps. 
A few criticisms though. To get the best out of the game you have to watch several ads. Don’t mind this when it’s to get prizes quicker or earn extra practice sessions, but it’s very annoying when you’re playing a practice session that’s been manipulated so you cannot possibly reach the required goal without having to watch an ad to complete it. Worse still is when you have to use 50 diamonds to get the one extra move you need to complete the dance ... it makes it impossible to save your diamonds to buy the accessories you need to improve your score. Would be a much more absorbing and enjoyable game if you only had to pay 10 diamonds for additional moves, and if the accessories cost less diamonds to purchase.

Really love this game and have done for a while now. You get to train throughout the week and try and get a high a score as possible for the live shows which start on a Friday and continue through the weekend.

The only downsides to this game are how expensive the accessories are which of course you need diamonds for. These can be won albeit sparingly. You get 25 diamonds daily for completing the daily tasks, of which you get 3 diamonds each for, along with 10 diamonds for daily login. This sounds quite a bit but when the cheapest shoes are around 150 diamonds, then....

Of course I have found that you don’t need these accessories to win. I have come first almost every week in the live shows now for about 8 weeks running with only one purchase of some earrings with my diamonds, so it is do-able. 

My main issue with the game is that you need to be practically on the game 24/7 if you want to stay ahead and win which isn’t something I want to be doing all day everyday. For this reason I will be sadly uninstalling this game :( I would love to continue but just simply cannot be playing every minute of the day. An option to this would be for the developers to change the way the scores are kept throughout the week. As in, don’t! Keep the weekdays for simply training and levelling up each dance but do not keep a score, only have scores given for the live shows and a winner is produced from those live scores and not on who’s been playing all week!

Still a great game but this is one fan who has to hang up her dancing shoes for now
