I couldn’t ask for better! & now… I’ve been using Stride for a long time and I had many problems in the beginning, as I sent you messages about! Yet you have corrected most issues thank you & herein lies the problem still… I have been trying to print out and yes I change the year for my annual tax info… I am amending and had filed an extension, so I need 2024 and 25 tax info even though I’m changing the year you’re sending me ‘2026 only’ and I’ve tried this several times and you keep sending me 2026 only so you’re glitchy system is messing me up! ### 4/5 — Useful but missing this *2026-08-22, version 26.5.0* Great app. Looking for a way to different miles on the fly that all can contribute to an overall total but have different uses. Drive/Deadhead/Other Business and a pause for breaks without having to end the drive. This is unfortunate because otherwise it seems to be a very helpful app. ### 4/5 — Good mileage tracker *2026-08-07, version 26.5.0* It is a very good mileage tracker but their recent change on the tax estimator makes that part literally garbage. It now assumes your tips are subject to 15.3% self employment taxes with no respect for schedule c deductions for expenses. We all know tips are still subject to self employment taxes but they don’t ignore expenses. Their estimator takes shortcuts that gives you an inaccurate view of your tax bill. Test it out, you can enter expenses that bring you to a loss and if there are tips it will still say you will owe taxes becasue of your tips which is not how that works. I will go to using a spreadsheet, stride was good because its free but I don’t need to be told I should save hundreds of dollars for a tax bill I won’t have because you are taking shortcuts to calculate it. That doesn’t help anyone. What I need is a realistic estimator that lets me know if I even need to file a quarterly payment which isn’t required before you expect to have a tax bill over 1000 for the year. Tracks miles well. However, the quarters don’t match with the IRS schedule and the latest update doesn’t let me send my tax report for a custom time period unless the drives are in the same quarter. This is extremely annoying. And this hasn’t been just a one time thing has been multiple multiple times. ### 1/5 — Email report *2026-08-10, version 26.5.0* I like the app. However, it will not send the report to my email. ### 1/5 — SPAM Kings *2026-08-08, version 26.5.0* I have never wrote a review for an app, so this should tell you how bad this is. I only downloaded this app. Discovered an old app I used does more, better. So I deleted Stride. They have spammed my mailbox to no end! Iv done everything to make them stop and they email every single day! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-08-07, version 26.5.0* Update: now it’s logging the start of my trips, it’s showing my drive and everything as normal and then at some point it zeros everything out. I just spent over 3 hours of driving. I looked at my miles driven and it shows my time 3:47, my miles as 0, and Tax Deductions as 0.00 saved this trip. Update: I clicked on their insurance and it take me to Liberty Mutual and no when I click get a quote after entering my information this is what they respond to us “The Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company no longer offers Auto Insurance in California. However, we may be able to help you get quotes from other trusted brands”… there are no discounts in California using this app. Org: It logged me out again, and I lost a whole day of driving. You can tell it’s made by California government. IF ONLY I COULD REMEMBER!! Well I remembered today… the damn thing tracked my journey in hours and minutes. NOT A SINGLE MILE. TRASH WISH I COULD UPLOAD THE PICTURE ### 1/5 — Lose tracking miles in some situations. *2026-07-26, version 26.4.0* Don’t let your phone turn off when you using stride tracking miles. When you turn on your phone again. Stride log you out, and all your tracked miles before you phone off will be lost! The drived time is still there but the driving miles will reset to 0. And lose all the track of your drove. ### 1/5 — Does not work. *2026-07-02, version 26.4.0* The live mile tracking option has only worked 1 out of 3 times I tried to use it. Every time I go to click back on the app to end my drive it logs me out and deletes any progress I had. Which is the entire reason I wanted to use this app so it's not worth it at all to me and made me lose out on money. The one time that option did work, I tried to go back and edit it, but you can't actually edit anything except adding a note to the drive.
