## What is Stride?

Training is full of signals. A great ride. A flat run. A good swim. A week where your legs felt gone before Tuesday. A power curve that's moving. An HRV trend that's trying to tell you something.

Stride brings it all into one place, then helps you understand what to do next.

Built for cyclists, runners, triathletes, and coaches, Stride combines clear training analytics with Stride AI: an assistant that can plan your week, adjust your schedule, generate structured workouts, and give you insights into your training like never before.

With Stride, you can:
• See your training load, fatigue, HRV, power, pace, FTP, Critical Power, W′, and more
• Use Stride Insights to understand what went well, what to watch, and what to do next
• Build and adjust training plans with Stride AI
• Generate custom structured workouts for rides, runs, swims, and strength sessions
• Track your power curve and power profile across key durations
• Sync activities, sleep and HRV data from Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Zwift, Rouvy, Apple Health, Whoop, Oura, Polar, Strava, and more
• Push structured workouts to supported devices and platforms
• Keep your training history, plans, workouts, recovery, and analysis together

Ask Stride AI to make the week easier. Tell it you're travelling. Build toward the event on your calendar. Create a workout that matches the race you're actually training for. Then come back after the hard session and let Stride Insights show you what happened: what worked, what changed, what to watch, and what to do next.

### 5/5 — The training platform you wish you’d always had

*2026-09-07*

It’s rare to find a training app that does it all, but Stride does. I’ve been a long time user of Trainjng Peaks, both with and without a coach, and found that so much time was spent just copying workouts and looking at numbers that weren’t helping me. Stride helps me plan my training, replan based on what my training data and Whoop is telling me and what I feel like, and then analyse it in so such detail. The insights are actually useful and honest. I find myself waiting to get my Stride insight after a ride even before checking for trophies on Strava!

### 3/5 — Great app, poor support

*2026-08-27*

This app has a lot of potential and has been designed beautifully but understandably so, there little to no support available. This is the reality of AI based tools: ship endless features but no room for people on the ground to support

**Developer response:** We have a full human support team and are here 9-5, 5 days a week an usually answer in less than then minutes! Please feel free to contact us using the in app chat feature

### 1/5 — Can’t sign in with Apple

*2026-08-24*

I use my Apple account for logins to preserve privacy, but the Stride app just delivers a “failed to authenticate” message. App seems to have fallen on its face right off the start.

### 2/5 — Unable to connect to Strava

*2026-08-14*

Seems that there’s a Strava API limitation that this app hit. Unable to connect Strava. “Error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded”

**Developer response:** Unfortunately, Strava has started to ban apps like us and removed our connection. It's not removed from our app but not to worry, we have everything else anyway!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-12*

I’ve been using this app since the end of June. I’ve found it excellent. Easy to use and the AI tool is superb. I’m coming back from an injury, put all this into the app, told it what my goal was and the app developed a plan for me. The app changes your workouts week to week so you’re not doing the same set workout repeatedly. I’m a leisure cyclist and using this on Zwift for fitness and a cycling trip next year. Can’t recommend it enough.

### 1/5 — Low quality App & website.

*2026-08-06*

Been using Stride for less than a week. The idea is good and the feedback of workouts given is good, but that’s where it ends. The app failed to bring in more than a few months of training data from Garmin/Zwift etc, and only partial months training integrated leaving large gaps. Apparently I did nothing to 3 weeks in July 2026 despite completing 16 workouts. So Stride can’t create a meaningful plan based on sporadic data. Tried to reconnect Garmin in the hope it may upload the data, but no. Do I upload manually, god no, I don’t have the time.
The app constantly logs out so I have to wait for a code emailed to me to log in again. Use the website…again wait for a log in code delivered by email.
Sorry, it’s a great idea but it’s just poorly thought out and executed.

**Developer response:** Hi there, please do get in contact with support! We can easily help you get that data in. I'd have to check but I think the rides you are trying to get into Stride are from Zwift? Garmin won't send us those, but you can just connect Zwift and everything will pull in perfectly!

We've also fixed the logout bug in the latest release, I apologise, I know that was frustrating.

### 3/5 — Not quite there - Beta maybe?

*2026-06-09*

Concept is good, very unpolished at the time or reviewing. Despite all my data being imported from Garmin, the platform is advising I have had 6 months off which isn’t the case. On challenging the app, the AI is apologetic but still getting things wrong, seems like a typical AI integration that needs constant re-prompting until you get something you are happy with.

Bigger red flag was after connecting Strava, a message was received stating that the app had exceeded its limit of connected athletes, which isn’t a great first impression, especially for an app that is built around data integration.

Decent potential but other platform such as trainer road are miles ahead. I will revisit this due to the developer, was hoping for more but disappointed with the current release.

**Developer response:** Hi there,

We're sorry to hear this. It sounds like your Garmin connection didn't quite pull across all your data and that's not usually the case, so something is up. We take this kind of thing very seriously so do get in touch with our live support, we'll make sure you can setup correctly and get you on your way! AI is only as good as the data, and you need that foundation setup

Unfortunately we did hit Strava limits due to our recent popularity, we've asked for more users and we're working with them to resolve.

Hope to hear from you soon and we'll get you sorted

Alex

### 5/5 — The best!

*2026-04-25*

I have used all the training apps and this is the best. Cycling for almost two decades and this is holistically the best to serve the athlete and give the data you need without too much. It's use of AI is the cherry on top that separates it from the rest!

### 5/5 — My daily coach

*2026-03-11*

I use Stride as my daily training coach and it’s quickly become one of the most useful fitness apps I’ve used. The AI makes planning both my gym sessions and cycling workouts incredibly easy - very decent.

One of the best features is how well it integrates with Zwift, which makes cycling sessions seamless. The app is also very simple and intuitive to use - just a clean way to plan and execute training.

Developers are open to feedback and actively improving the app. Being able to suggest ideas and see the app evolve makes it feel like a real training partner.

Highly recommend for anyone who wants structured training without the hassle of building plans themselves.

### 5/5 — Best in Class

*2026-02-26*

I will preface this by saying that I am coming back to cycling after a long absence due to balancing running two full time businesses & family life with the ambitions of racing once again & being able to hold my own with friends around the Yorkshire dales.
I have previously used traditional cycling coaches, TrainingPeaks, TrainerRoad in anger & before settling on stride also trialled other AI based coaching apps, but this is the app I wished I had ten years ago.

One thing I always struggled with traditional coaches was if I missed a session getting the plan adjusted, whereas with Stride, it’s a two minute conversation with the AI & all sorted, meaning even as an autistic person, it really does help not feeling like I’ve ruined all of the progress made by life getting in the way once or twice. Previously I’d have ended up stopping training entirely until the coach eventually relented and reset the plan, meaning progress wasn’t as linear as it should have been.

The app auto-adjusts metrics depending on how you’re doing so potentially you never have to do any metric testing (FTP etc) unless you really want to & the training sessions are built by both ex-pros and really highly regarded coaches so you know you’re getting set sessions that are both beneficial and maximising your availability.

On top of all this, their technical support goes above and beyond - I had an issue out of hours where for some reason my account wasn’t working with the integration to Zwift/Wahoo not auto populating training sessions, I dropped them a message not expecting a fix until the next day and knowing I could manually export/import like you had to back in the day, but they got back to me and sorted within the hour!
