## What is Strike?

Strike helps self-directed lifters build muscle without following a rigid workout plan.

Most lifting apps make you pick a program and march through it. Strike flips that: log whatever you want to lift today, and the app keeps an honest scoreboard of what you've trained, what you're skipping, and what's worth lifting next.

THE WEEKLY RACK
Every week is a fresh rack of ten pins, one per muscle group. Log enough hard, varied work and the pin goes down. A strike. Knock them all down before the week resets. Tap any pin for a quick read on where that group stands.

LOG FREELY
No fixed plan, no prescribed order. Search the catalog, multi-select your gear, and line up lifts for today. Your recent sets stay in view, so you never have to remember what weight you used last time.

BUILT-IN TIMERS
Rest timer follows you across every screen as a floating pill that stays clear of your sets. A workout timer tracks the whole session from your first set to your last.

INSTANT RECAPS
Every workout ends with what changed: volume, sets, pins moved, PRs, and first-time lifts.

HISTORY AND PRS
A month calendar shows every day you trained. PRs stay in one place, so your best lifts are easy to spot.

YOUR SPREAD
The part most trackers miss. Strike watches how your work splits inside each muscle group, and calls out the slices you keep skipping before they become blind spots. See this week at a glance, or a four-week trend to catch the drift.

WEEKLY REVIEW
A coach-style briefing when the week closes: wins, streaks, momentum, and where to point the next one.

BUILT FOR MUSCLE
Targets and credit math are tuned for hypertrophy. If you run a strict strength program, Strike will still log everything, but the pins are about muscle growth.

Yes, logging workouts in Strike is free. However, Strike Pro unlocks advanced features like readiness assessment, pin minimums, detailed recaps, spread analysis, weekly reviews, and next-lift guidance.

### What are the subscription details for Strike Pro?

Strike Pro offers a monthly subscription for $3.99, which includes a 14-day free trial. This subscription unlocks the app's core intelligence and advanced features.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-06-25

A warmer welcome for new lifters, plus a fix for sign-in emails.

• New lifters now start with a free preview of Strike's intelligence — readiness, the weekly rack, recaps, and your spread — through your first workout, so you can feel what Strike adds before deciding whether to go Pro
• The automatic Pro prompt now waits for your first workout recap, not while you're saving sets
• A smoother, faster first run
• Fixed: confirmation and magic-link sign-in emails now open the app reliably
• Polish and speed-ups throughout

Log freely. Strike keeps score.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-06-18

You can now try Strike before making an account. Plus a batch of flow upgrades: fewer taps, less remembering, more lifting.

• Try it instantly from the sign-in screen, seeded with realistic data, no account needed
• Rest timer everywhere: a floating pill follows you screen to screen and stays clear of your sets
• Whole-workout timer counts from your first set to your last
• Tap any rack pin for a quick read on that group's progress
• Pick your gear faster with multi-select equipment filters
• Line up supersets in one go
• History now has a month calendar of training days
• Muscle pages are cleaner, with weekly sub-bars
• Your spread now has two clear views: this week and a four-week trend

### 1.2.0 — 2026-06-13

Your spread got a full redesign:

• One glance per muscle: your work as a bar, the goal as a notch, missing work as a dashed gap
• Slices you keep skipping are called out by name — with what to feed next
• Made up a neglected muscle this week? Strike celebrates it, and the win sticks
• Spread status now lives right on your home screen
• Tidier home screen: the app is now just "Strike"

### 1.0 — 2026-06-07
