I think this is a great app starting out on string instruments. I use this learning the first four positions on the cello as well as dabble into the upper clefts and it has really helped me grasp the concepts and sight reading ability. I highly recommend it.

Suitable for older/high school students, this app really makes you think and have to visualise the fingerboard to get through each level. There is a handy chart should you require it for reference

I’ve been using this app as a homework task to help my students learn the fingerboard properly. It gives them all the information they need and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the recordings of each note sound. Many of my students are also finding it much easier to understand and memorize their scales now. Highly recommended!

It is a handy tool for learning strings positions and fingering. It has a fingerboard map and requires ten correct questions in a row to move on to the next level. It can be challenging , but teaches you a strong understanding of the positions on the fingerboard. A fantastic app for all level musicians !!
