### 1/5 — Crashes on my iPhone

*2021-08-14, version 1.3.1*

This app works fine on my iPad but crashes on my iPhone. Hope the problem fixed at the next update.

### 1/5 — Ridiculous

*2020-03-05, version 1.2.1*

My Astrox99 65ti string strung30lbs
Tested: 22
88d bg80string Strung 30lbs
Tested:22.3
Lining 800D bg80 string 30lbs
Tested: 23lbs
Vdld2 bg95 string strung30lbs
Tested: 22.7

Just ridiculous. My rackets were just restrung in2weeks.

### 1/5 — It’s a toy, not a tool

*2019-07-02, version 1.2.1*

An amusing toy to goof around at courts if you were bored. It’s not a real tool to measure anything useful. You’re better off pressing strings with your thumbs to gauge string tension than using this app.

### 1/5 — H

*2019-04-03, version 1.2.1*

When i open the app secondly for cheak my string tension of wilson ,and then i click on measure now then it come back to previous page plz fix it

### 1/5 — Scam

*2018-05-22, version 1.2.1*

I did an experiment with this app, interpret the results as you will.

Strings settings: brand new, 24 lb.
Measurement result: 19.6lb, strings are dead

String settings: brand new, 20 lb.
Measurement result: 16lb, strings are dead

Same settings different racquet, strung at 27lb
Measurement result: 16lb, strings are dead

Clearly just a scam app pushing ads for strings.

### 1/5 — Poorly programmed and inaccurate

*2018-04-30, version 1.2.1*

The interface for adding other manufacture rackets is confusing, you have to add the name twice or it won’t work. Some times the save button disappears while selecting the size of the racket. And two rackets I tested, they are 23-24lb tension, measured to be 14.5 and 15.7 lb

### 1/5 — Crashes on boot now for my iPhone 7

*2017-11-10, version 1.2.0*

Was working fine... now it isn’t. iOS 11.1

### 4/5 — Needs to be updated

*2020-08-05, version 1.2.1*

The Developer has abandoned this App. No updates in over a year. Crashes constantly. I liked it before.

Update:
I deleted and reinstalled. Now working again. My data intact. Tested my freshly strung Astrox88D w Ultimax at 28lbs - it measured at 27.8lb 👍🏻. Would still like to see an update. I like the App.

I wonder if those getting poor measurement results are perhaps not testing correctly .. too much ambient noise .. not striking the tested racket string bed with another racket / not your palm ie ??

### 5/5 — Good app. Consistent results

*2019-03-04, version 1.2.1*

Tried this app on 5 strung rackets. Yonex vtgz, nrgz, two as 11 and a duora 10. All strung at 22-24lbs. The result for a new strung nrgz is 24.9. A one week vtgz is 21.6, a four week as11 aerobite 20 and a eight week as11 aerosonic is 20.5. A half year duora 10 is 19.4. I measured several times by hitting the center of the rackets with other rackets. Results are pretty consistent. Difference is less than 0.1 lb.

I use electric head with prestretch and add two pounds for the center 4 main strings. So my rackets may be slightly tighter than 22. But the measure may still be 1-2 lbs higher. Overall, I think the app did give consistent results. I cannot say exactly how accurate it is. But it can definitely be used to measure how much tension your racket has lost since it was strung. Giving it is a free app, I have no complaints.
