## What is StripesAheadUK?

Prepare for Sergeant promotion with a clear, structured path from PC to Sergeant.

Stripes Ahead is built for serving police officers who want to prepare properly for promotion, strengthen their leadership thinking and walk into the promotion board with greater confidence.

Work through structured learning, practise promotion interview questions, track your progress and continue studying whenever you have a few minutes available.

STRUCTURED SERGEANT PREPARATION

Follow a deliberate learning programme covering the knowledge, values and behaviours expected during your progression to Sergeant.

The programme includes:

• The Foundations
• The Values
• The Behaviours
• Sergeant leadership preparation
• Promotion interview preparation
• Structured answer development

PREPARE FOR THE PROMOTION BOARD

Develop stronger examples and practise answering competency-based questions before you are sitting in front of the board.

Interview preparation helps you:

• Practise realistic promotion questions
• Structure stronger answers
• Understand the STAR-L framework
• Compare your approach with model responses
• Identify areas that need more work
• Build confidence through repetition

BUILT AROUND SHIFT LIFE

You do not always have an hour available to revise.

Stripes Ahead is designed so you can make progress in shorter study sessions, whether you are travelling, on a break or fitting preparation around shifts.

Your progress is saved so you can continue exactly where you left off.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

See:

• Overall programme progress
• Completed topics
• Courses in progress
• What to study next
• Your learning journey toward the board

EXPERT GUIDANCE

Stripes Ahead was created with Shaun Page, former Detective Chief Inspector with more than 20 years of policing and senior investigative experience, including experience sitting on promotion boards.

The aim is not simply to help you memorise material. It is to help you think, communicate and prepare like the Sergeant you are working to become.
