## What is Strixx?

Build a good habit. Break a bad one. Mark the day. Keep the count.

A goal sits ahead of you and reminds you daily that you're not there yet. What's done works the other way round: it's already yours, and nobody can take it back. "Read" and "didn't smoke" look the same to the counter: one more day for yourself, not for autopilot.

TWO ACTIONS, NOT TEN
In the morning, tap today — your intention. In the evening, tap again — done; once more — an honest “didn't work out”. Prefer plain marking? Turn off Intention mode in Settings. A past day cycles with each tap: done, almost, didn't work out, empty. Long-press a day for a note and the other actions. Tap the top row of the card for your path so far.

SEE HOW FAR YOU'VE COME
Every day of a streak is a notch, starting with the first. Seven notches get struck through with one line, the way people counted what they'd lived through long before apps. The habit's card shows your path in notches, bundled by seven; "almost" stands apart and isn't counted. Details show five weeks and your record. Free shows 30 days of your path; Pro shows all of it. The past lies to the left of "Today": swipe there and you'll see "Last 30 days" of every habit together.

THE FLAME GROWS WITH YOUR STREAK
For the first six days an ember glows next to the number. From day seven a flame breaks out of it, growing and changing shape at 14, 21, 30, 45, 60 and 100 days. For daily habits, how much is left until the next level shows on the card.

The number on the card keeps growing, and the bigger it gets, the less you want to hand it over. That's the whole mechanic.

REPORT: THE ANSWER AT A GLANCE
One number, the percentage of days marked this month, and next to it, what last month was. Below it: 12 weeks as bars with a goal line, each habit's records with dates, and a calendar showing your best days. At the start of a month, a short story: what worked, where you came back, which streak is longest, and a poster for stories without habit names.

NOTCHES THAT DON'T DISAPPEAR
Your first mark, seven days, coming back the day after a miss, your first "almost": each of these steps leaves a notch in your profile. No miss takes them away. Once a month, when a daily habit has 21 marks, you can spend 20 seconds rating how automatic it already is, on a scientific scale of four statements.

NOT EVERYTHING IS DAILY
The gym three times a week is a completed week, not four failed days. No drinking on weekdays is a completed week. Calling your parents twice a month is a completed month. Sweets no more than twice a week is a completed week too. The number is measured in the unit you actually live in.

ONE SLIP DOESN'T WIPE IT ALL
Many trackers erase the number after a single miss — which is why it rarely grows big enough to be worth protecting. In a daily habit, three days in a row earn you one free miss. Two misses in a row do break it, and forgiveness doesn't stack. And when it's really not the time — injury, moving house — put the habit on Pause: the counter waits with you.

If you'd rather have no safety net, the forgiveness rule switches off in Settings.

ON YOUR WRIST AND ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
The widget keeps the number in front of you, and you can mark the day right from it. On Apple Watch all habits sit on one screen: a tap on a cell sets an intention or marks the day, and yesterday is one swipe into the past.

NOBODY SEES THESE NUMBERS BUT YOU
No account: open it and start. No feed: nobody to compete with, nobody to perform for. No ads, no tracking. Your habits and marks stay on your devices. Anonymous stats only if you turn them on.

Free, with no limit on habits. Pro unlocks your full history, the yearly report and the month landscape you can rotate. One-time purchase, no subscription. We don't make money from your guilt.

Add one habit. One, not seven. If you'd started it back when you first thought about it, that number would already be in double digits.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.5 — 2026-10-04

A more readable watch, and statistics that are your choice.

• Streak milestones: 7, 14, 21, 30, 40, 66 and 100 days — the flame flares up, notches line up, and you can share a picture without the habit’s name.
• Apple Watch: one text size on every row, long names wrap to two lines instead of being cut off, bigger tap targets.
• Anonymous statistics only if you turn them on: Settings → Privacy → Anonymous statistics. Off by default. "See exactly what's sent" shows the full content. Habit names and notes never leave your device.
• The first automaticity self-check now comes after 7 marks instead of 21.

### 1.2.4 — 2026-10-03

An intention in the morning. A check in the evening.

• Tapping today cycles: intention → done → didn't work out → empty.
• Intentions stand out: an amber cell on iPhone, Apple Watch and the widget.
• Live swipes: days on the watch and stories in Report follow your finger.
• Apple Watch: intentions work on your wrist too.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-10-03

Build a good habit, break a bad one — and watch the notches add up to a path.

• New "Report": one number and a comparison with last month, 12 weeks with a goal line, records with dates, a calendar of your best days. At the start of a month, a short story with a poster for stories.
• Notches in your profile: your first mark, seven days, coming back after a miss, your first "almost". Misses don't take them away.
• Once a month, a 20-second self-check: how automatic the habit already is.
• The past now lies to the left: "Last 30 days" is one swipe from "Today", no extra switches.
• Apple Watch: all habits on one screen, taps reliably cycle through the states, and yesterday is one swipe into the past.
• The flame of weekly habits counts days: a week burns as seven days.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-02

A new, simpler Strixx.

• Two actions on every card: tap a day to mark it, tap the habit to see your path so far.
• Notches start with your first marked day, not on day seven.
• Swipe on the home screen for Month: the last 30 days of every habit with a miss count; tap a row to see five weeks with dates.
• Tapping a marked day no longer changes it blindly — you get a choice.
• Apple Watch: the Digital Crown scrolls through your habits, one per screen.
• Habit actions moved to ⋯ on the habit screen; long-press on a card no longer opens a menu.
• Habit order now lives in Profile.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-01

If you already have Strixx, nothing changes for you: Pro is already yours, forever. It unlocks on its own once the app checks your purchase; if it doesn't, tap Restore Purchases in Profile. Thank you for trusting it from day one.

For everyone else, Strixx is now free: as many habits as you like, streaks, tally marks, forgiven misses, pause, watch, widget, reminders, weekly and monthly reports.

Pro opens your full history, from day one, and the yearly report. Once, no subscription.
