Strobel is a precision instrument tuner built for players who care about getting it exactly right - fast, accurate, and free of the clutter most tuner apps pile on.

MORE ACCURATE, ESPECIALLY IN NOISE
We rebuilt the pitch detection core from the ground up: a proper noise filter, a longer analysis window for low strings, and a gate that learns your room's noise floor automatically. Low E in a noisy room used to be the hardest case for any tuner — it's now one of the most reliable.

FIXED
• A crash when adjusting the metronome tempo or gate sensitivity sliders
• Occasional UI stutter caused by audio session handling
• A packaging issue that could block installation on some devices

### 1.0.2 — 2026-05-17

Improved pitch detection accuracy - haptic feedback is now off by default to prevent vibration from interfering with the microphone on acoustic instruments. You can re-enable it in Settings. Also added a microphone position selector (bottom vs. top mic) so the app works best however you hold your phone.

Strobel now speaks Spanish! In version 1.0.1, we have added full localization for Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Latin America) on the App Store. Additionally, we've tweaked the internal code to optimize the stability of the vDSP audio engine, making low-frequency detection even more rock-solid.
