## What is Stroke of Madness?

Golf, but it hates you.

Stroke of Madness is a precision pixel golf game about climbing. The hole is at the top of the tower, the islands between you and it are floating in open air, and there is nothing underneath.

Miss one and you fall. You clip ledges on the way down, sometimes one catches you, usually it doesn't. Falling costs you no strokes - only everything you had built.

ONE HUNDRED HOLES ACROSS TEN WORLDS
Meadow fairways, sea cliffs, desert towers, frozen drift-floes, wind-scoured peaks, bounce-pad chaos, tidal waterworks, lantern-lit mines, rising lava, and a final ascent through the stars.

THREE KINDS OF HOLE
Fairways run left to right on solid ground. Towers climb straight up through floating islands. Sprawls do both, and they are the long ones.

SURFACES THAT MISBEHAVE
Grass behaves. Ice won't let you stop. Sand kills momentum. Bounce pads give back more than you gave. Ledges crumble under you if you stand still. Whole platforms drift while you're standing on them.

CHECKPOINTS, BUT THEY COST YOU
Reaching a flag saves that floor. After a fall you can return to it for one stroke, or climb back for free. That choice is the whole game.

ONE SCORE THAT NEVER RESETS
Every stroke you have ever taken is counted. Finish the game, then finish it again in fewer.
