## What is StrokeReady?

StrokeReady is an offline educational reference for licensed clinicians and prehospital providers studying and recalling acute stroke care — ischemic AND hemorrhagic. It summarizes published guidelines, teaches classic vascular localization, and includes standard clinical scoring calculators — on-device, with no account and no network. Built on the 2026 AHA/ASA acute ischemic stroke, 2022 AHA/ASA intracerebral hemorrhage, and 2023 AHA/ASA aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage guidelines. StrokeReady does not diagnose, image, or treat, and does not make time-critical decisions — those rest on the clinician's own examination, imaging, and current guidelines.
LEARN LOCALIZATION

Vascular-localization teaching aid — check the exam findings and risk factors, and it maps them to the territories they are classically associated with in vascular neuroanatomy, showing its full reasoning (a "Why this ranking" breakdown). It is a study aid, not a diagnosis.
Nine classic syndromes: large-vessel occlusion, dominant/non-dominant MCA, ACA, PCA, brainstem/basilar, lateral medullary (Wallenberg), cerebellar, lacunar — each with hallmark, vessel, signs, localizing pearls, workup, and mimics.

CLINICAL SCORE CALCULATORS

NIHSS, ICH Score, Hunt-Hess, WFNS, and modified Fisher — simple published scores with live totals and source links. These perform the same arithmetic as the paper forms.

REFERENCE LIBRARY

Work-up: imaging, labs, glucose, ECG/telemetry, pulse and access-site checks, dysphagia screening — each with when-to-order and rationale.
Protocols: EMS/prehospital, in-hospital stroke code, IV thrombolysis, and mechanical thrombectomy — as published checklists.
Medications: dose, route, and frequency (lytics, BP control, glucose, antiplatelet/DAPT, reversal, seizure, osmotherapy).
Monitoring & neurochecks: schedules and targets drawn from the guidelines.

Every entry cites its source. Fully offline; collects no data.
