I love being able to go back to my outdoor walk sessions and see exactly where I walked. While the app was simple to sync to my Apple Watch and is simple to use, my biggest complaint is that the app stays open the entire time it’s in use on my watch and the “end stroller walk” button is too easily pressed. I’ve accidentally ended my walks by pulling up my shirt sleeve to check how long I’ve been walking or to see notifications on my watch. I wish you had to toggle to a different screen, like on Apple workouts, to end the walk. ### 4/5 — Awesome when it works! *2025-08-01, version 1.10* Absolutely LOVE the concept of this app and have been using it almost since it came out. However, it can be quite glitchy. Recently, after a walk with stroller steps it will say the total steps were 4600 for example, then I’ll look at my apple health steps and the total for the day so far is 4200 and that was including other walking just around the house and stuff. So the totals don’t seem to be going into my Apple health total step count. That defeats the purpose of why I need it. I take most of my walks with my phone in the stroller, it does not recognize these steps. I was recommended this app. If I’m wearing my Apple Watch my steps are counted even when walking with a stroller. I need something that will track the distance steps when the phone is in the stroller. All health permissions are turned on and watch and phone are up to date. It’s honestly terrible and it seems like you had to jump through hoops to get it to work properly judging by their response to everybody’s complaints. My elderly mom has an Apple Watch fully updated that is no longer accurately tracking her steps because she is recovering from knee surgery and must constantly have 2 hands on her rolling walker. I thought this app would be a great solution to track her steps while pushing her rolling walker, and to show her progress with physical therapy. We paid the $10 lifetime subscription fee, installed it onto the watch, and tried to start it. We keep getting the message saying we don’t have a subscription on her watch, but on her iPhone it clearly states we have a subscription. The help page brings you to a non-working link on WhatsApp. There is no way to get any customer support, and the app is totally stuck and doesn’t work. Complete waste of time and money. App seems like a good idea, but it’s a complete scam. ### 1/5 — 0 *2025-03-18* This app is in my phone and says it’s connected correctly to my phone but it counts 0 steps. The customer service process is ridiculous. Easter of money **Developer response:** Hi there — I’m so sorry for the frustration! When the app shows 0 steps, it’s usually because Apple Health permissions weren’t fully enabled during setup. Thankfully it’s an easy fix! Here’s how to make sure everything’s connected: Option 1: 1. Open the Stroller Steps app on your iPhone 2. Tap Apple Health 3. Tap Continue — this will open the Apple Health permissions screen 4. Tap Turn On All at the top, and make sure all toggles are green Option 2: 1. Open the Apple Health app on your iPhone 2. Tap Data Access & Devices 3. Scroll down and tap Stroller Steps 4. Tap Turn On All and confirm all toggles are green If you’re still having issues after that, feel free to message us on WhatsApp — we’re happy to help troubleshoot or issue a refund if needed. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-12-16, version 1.10* I tried using this app multiple times and it’s never correct. I walk my usual 2 miles with my stroller and it only calculated about 1,000 steps and 0.5 miles each time I used it.
