The whole paper is available just as if I were at home with it spread out on the dining room table. You cannot contact anyone in the states to help, everything goes through the Philippines. If you call the paper you are transferee to the Philippines. Most of the time I just give up & go read something else. There are minor inconveniences associated with obtaining an electronic issue, but when I’m in Europe, it is virtually impossible to obtain other than what seems to be random articles. Features, sports, and comics are nonexistent. I see that another reviewer made similar comment more than a year ago yet apparently nothing was done to rectify the problem. I don’t even bother an attempt anymore as it has become time wasting. ### 1/5 — Terrible Focus *2018-12-15, version 2.9.10* This app has gotten even worse since USA Today purchased the newspaper. Between the local news and USA Today inserts, its impossible to focus on the print. For one of the most expensive home delivered newspapers, the quality is ridiculous. ### 2/5 — What a terrible app from a poorly managed paper *2018-07-08, version 2.6.87* This app opens slowly, navigates slowly and in general is difficult to use if you are actually in Stuart. If you travel to Europe or Scandinavia (where I am now) it sends only a small selection of TC PALM articles not the actual newspaper. Note: to editor... come out of the dark ages... if you want subscribers to support your paper make the paper available. This is 2018, not 1918. ### 1/5 — Only as good as the newspaper behind it-BROKEN *2015-10-12, version 2.5.70* Made the mistake of going digital. Had been a customer for over 30 years. Had to download this app to gain access. They have no record of me being a customer, rendering this app USELESS as no access code could be given to a non customer. GOODBYE TC PALM/STUART NEWS. ### 1/5 — Not free *2015-04-24, version 2.4.4* While this is a free app to download, all of the content costs money. There is nothing in this app you can do without paying them for a subscription. Apparently, they are using the outdated model of charging this subscriber instead of generating revenue through advertisements. It is misleading that this is a free app when, in reality, you have to pay for everything. ### 1/5 — Very unreliable. *2013-06-30, version 2.4.4* Does not load properly most of the time ### 1/5 — Very Buggy *2013-06-22, version 2.4.4* For the iPad this is a beta version at best. There are many days the current version won't download until later in the day. Sometimes you may not get your regional newspaper downloaded, but rather someone elses. The "articles" selection in the app is completely unreadable. In past it worked well. Now with so many dropping the paper delivery, the app appears to be downgraded. It does not seem to really download. It freezes. It goes blank. It is a chore to read the full paper without multiple reboots. It is impossible to read when traveling on the road or air. I have attempted to delete app and hopefully download a new update version of app. Doesn’t help. I may finally Drop my subscription. To add insult to injury the Stuart News sent out an email blast bragging about their focus on good customer service. My guess is that their web site is underpowered for the number of subscribers it has. This Stuart News is definitely a second rate newspaper company. Update August 2020. App is locking up agIn every day. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and it still froze. Update October 2020. Still terrible. It still locks up, I again deleted the app and reloaded it. It froze agin the first time I used it. The app writers are just as incompetent as the biased reporters for this awful paper. Update November 2020. App locks up every day.
