Text, borders and cards are now properly readable throughout the app, with a warm new eggshell palette. Dark mode is unchanged. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03 A guided tour of the whole app, and prize codes that tell you when they end. TAKE THE TOUR New here, or never got round to half of it? There's now a hands-on walkthrough that runs through the whole app — adding a class, feeding it your actual slides, asking the AI tutor about your own notes, / commands, diagrams, the notes canvas, flashcards, quizzes, your timetable, to-do list, study groups and progress. You don't watch it — you do it. Every step is the real screen, and each one finishes by showing you the thing you just made. Nothing you create in the tour is saved. It runs in its own sandbox, so it can't touch your real classes, notes or files, and it doesn't spend any of your AI tokens. You'll be offered it once. After that it lives in Settings → Take the tour, and you can stop and restart it whenever you like. PRIZE AND PROMO CODES Redeemed a code? You can now see exactly how long it lasts. The confirmation tells you the date your plan runs until, and your plan card carries a "Prize plan — until …" badge while it's active — so a three-month prize no longer quietly disappears on you. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-21 Handwriting, rebuilt from the ground up. • Write with Apple Pencil on both the infinite canvas and the page view. Strokes respond to pressure and tilt, so they taper the way real ink does. • Six pens — ballpoint, fountain, pencil, marker, highlighter and brush — each remembering its own colour and thickness. • Rest your hand on the screen while you write. Palm rejection now keeps the page still instead of sending it flying. • Lasso any part of your notes to move, resize, rotate, recolour or duplicate it. • Two erasers: rub out a whole stroke, or split one exactly where you drag. • Your ink saves continuously as you write, and stays with the note it belongs to. Promo codes now show when they end. • Redeeming a code tells you the exact date your Pro access runs until, so a time-limited plan never quietly disappears on you. ### 1.0.0 — 2026-08-20 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Student AI Study Companion | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [SchoolXpress AI](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/schoolxpress-ai/id6502238247) | — | Free | Education | | [I Learn: Phonics for Kids](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/i-learn-phonics-for-kids/id996078190) | 5.0 (10) | $4.99 | Education | | [body anatomy guide](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/body-anatomy-guide/id1078063470) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Education | | [E-Studying – Study in Algeria](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/e-studying-study-in-algeria/id6742380067) | 4.8 (4) | Free | Education | | [NotesXP: AI Study Guide Maker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/notesxp-ai-study-guide-maker/id6741755234) | 4.8 (53) | Free | Education | | [Microlab: Histology, AI & More](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/microlab-histology-ai-and-more/id6749279874) | 4.9 (36) | Free | Education | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
