## What is Student Participation Tracker?

Keep classroom discussions moving and your private notes organized. Track participation and attendance, see who to call on next, and review each student's history on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

KNOW WHO TO CALL ON NEXT
Record correct and incorrect answers with a tap. Your roster automatically sorts as participation results change, helping you choose who to invite into the discussion next. Choose another sort order or an optional Call button to suit your teaching style.

ATTENDANCE AT A GLANCE
See who's here, absent, or excused, and keep a clear attendance history for every student. Review past attendance and correct a mark when needed.

FOCUS ON THE PERIOD YOU NEED
Review participation for today, this week, or all time. Save a named period for an exam, a unit, or a series of discussions, with a fixed end date or an ongoing end. Each class remembers its own selection so you can move between classes without losing your place.

CLASSROOM HISTORY, ORGANIZED
Review participation and attendance over time, add private notes for context, and correct past entries. Clear old history for a student, a class, or the whole app while keeping your rosters. Choose a date range when you only need to tidy up one period.

ENCRYPTED TO KEEP YOUR DATA SAFE
Optional encrypted iCloud sync keeps your classroom notes private and available across your devices. Encrypted backups give you a complete recovery copy of your classroom records. Add an app PIN or device authentication for another layer of privacy when others use your device.

BACK UP EVERYTHING, RECOVER WITH CONFIDENCE
Save all your classes, students, history, notes, and saved date periods in one backup. Restore your records after changing devices or wiping the app. Your backup password is required to open the file, so keep it somewhere safe.

EASY TO START, NO SUBSCRIPTION
Add students individually or import a roster. Start free with one class and up to 30 students, with all functional features included. An optional one-time Full Access purchase removes the class and student limits. No separate app account is required.

UPGRADING ICLOUD SYNC
Update every synced device to version 1.2 before enabling encrypted sync. Save your recovery code, then follow the iCloud Sync settings to remove previous cloud copies. Earlier versions cannot use the new encrypted library. Losing all copies of your key and recovery code means losing access to that library.

Student Participation Tracker is intended for a teacher's private notes and personal memory aids, not sharing, grading, formal assessment, or official student records. Encryption alone does not determine whether your use qualifies for FERPA's sole-possession exception. Follow FERPA and your institution's policies for student information, personal devices, and iCloud use.
