Never put your money here. They lose more of your money from fees, you will just see your balance going down. They boast of the lowest fees, an absolute lie. What other supers charge per year, they charge you per month. Absolute scam.

I had a really frustrating experience with this super fund, and I feel compelled to share it. First off, their customer service is awful. I called and instead, I got a voicemail asking me to leave a message. Given that they manage people’s retirement savings, it feels unprofessional and sketchy to not pick up the phone right away or at least to leave it rin until someone picks up.

They market themselves as “Student Super,” targeting young people like myself, but when I checked my account, I realised they put me into a “balanced” fund — a conservative option meant for older people, not students.

When I confronted them about this, their response was “we don’t choose for you.” But that’s exactly what they did — they chose to put me in the wrong fund without consulting me first, despite claiming to cater to students.

On top of that, when I asked about the performance of my investment compared to others, they couldn’t provide any clear answers and the performance of the fund is a lot lower than their competitors. It made me feel like my money was being mishandled and that they are waiting for the balance to get large enough to start charging high fees. I don’t trust them with my hard-earned savings, and I’ll definitely be moving my money out of this fund.

If you’re thinking about using them, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. They don’t seem to care about your financial future, only their own.

Post the latest IOS update, the app does crashes as soon as you click on the login button.

Service and benefits for students are amazing! However, every time I want to check my balance and open the app, it always requires a login with email and password? UI could be definitely be improved

This is a great great organisation, love how they care about the customers. Very nice staff too, no overpriced fees which is fantastic. 5/5 for sure.

The fee-free under $1,000 is the best bit. I’d lost so much of my super from my first christmas and part-time jobs.. all gone in fees. If I’d known about Student Super earlier I would still have it.
