Student square won't let me sign in or up with my student email and password

When trying to log in, changing your email or phone number requires calling you school. I understand that this is useful to prevent students from causing chaos with incorrect phone numbers and such, but it makes it SO MUCH HARDER to do ANYTHING. I wish my school didn’t switch to this it’s a mess.
