### 3/5 — Mostly good, needs improvements

*2026-08-30*

The recipes are awesome, but the conversion of measurements is really awkward and doesn’t work. I have to use ChatGPT to convert recipes correctly. I wish there was a “notes” section in my food diary to track what was going on that day and why my eating behavior was different. In exercise tracking there is limited capability to track fitness outside of the set categories. For instance, if I take Krav Maga or go horseback riding, I have to figure out my estimated calories. It won’t pull the estimates from my Apple Watch. Overall, though the app is great for tracking my goals and I would still recommend it.

### 2/5 — Not a great app for a great program

*2026-08-26*

Love this program and Madeline’s approach, but the app needs a of work. It’s impossible to customize your workout schedule, it’s really clunky and slow for logging food, and it does not have the option to sync with your tracking gear, Apple health, or even other food tracking apps with a more robust database. I’m committed to the program but the app is a disaster.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-08-11, version 4.0*

I was skeptical, but damn this app is great!

### 4/5 — So far, so good

*2026-08-08, version 4.0*

I love the app so far! Favorite part is the shopping g list, followed closely by the recipe library. My only ask would be for a "reports" option to generate and download for my medical provider (unless it's here and I just can't find it!)

### 5/5 — Incredible Value

*2026-08-08*

Over the years, I feel like I have tried alllll the apps, but this one takes the chocolate cottage cheese mousse! The value is absolutely insane! The app itself is SOOO functional and easy to use. There are different workout plans are built right into a custom calendar, recipes and meal plans specific for your caloric needs. There’s a macro counter, water intake counter, step tracker, access to live videos and coaching calls. There’s even a resources tab with sooo many helpful and REAL videos to help you along your journey. I’ve never really seen anything like it. The app also gives access to an incredible and supportive community. I cannot recommend this app enough and I am so grateful Maddie has created something like this for all of us. It is VERY evident she has put her heart and soul into every detail.

### 5/5 — Easy to use!

*2026-08-05, version 4.0*

Everything is in one place! So far the app has been so encouraging, motivating and I love that you can grab the recipes and workouts for your particular goals.

### 5/5 — best app

*2026-08-05, version 4.0*

workouts that work. food log is very easy. great info.

### 5/5 — By far the best fitness app!

*2026-08-04, version 4.0*

Easy to navigate, tons of workouts, recipes, and resources. Highly recommend!!!

### 2/5 — Not good for PMOS/PCOS

*2026-08-02, version 4.0*

First off, you can cancel the subscription in the app on the “manage subscription” page, you need to wait for the page to load.

Now, I downloaded this app and got the free trial.. then cancelled it within 30 minutes because the advert I saw was about supporting woman who have PCOS/PMOS and that wasn’t the case when I downloaded the app There are 170 million women in the world right now who have PEOS and I feel that you could make changes to help support women who do struggle with the syndrome. Meal plans, workouts and resources specific to women who have PMOS would be a great start considering you’ve made an ad about it. With our syndrome we need to lower insulin spikes, and despite cortisol “scare mongering” on social media, us with PMOS do actually need to lower it. I’d love for you to make categories specifically for women who have PMOS, I’d pay for that happily. There’s many modern studies to read that would support you, I urge you to consider this change, or maybe delete the advert about PCOS. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Options

*2026-07-31*

The app is great, but even when you are 100 compliance, but forget to log it in .. it should have the option to let you log it in the next day so that it has correct progress . Also the option to pick two of activity. The box that has a job or physically challenging job plus exercising 3 to 5 times a week should be allowed to pick more than one box. That includes water, food and exercise. I get all my walking exercise at work because I work a strenuous job so I will not come home and do the walking program so I think it needs to read that as the workout for the day and count those steps as if I did the walking duration because the progress shows low compliance on that side when it was done in a different way.

### 5/5 — The BEST WORKOUT/NUTRITION/LEARNING APP! So easy and affordable! Do it for YOU!!!

*2026-07-30, version 4.0*

I love the app! After you use it a time or two and get familiar with where everything’s at, it’s a breeze to use! From the multiple workout videos, plans, and challenges to select from that actually fit into your goals, to the nutrition plans included and every single meal actually tells you what ingredients are needed, how much of each, and step by step on how to cook it. This app literally takes all the guesswork and stressful headaches out of healthy eating! And they’re so easy to make!

I’ve only been using this app for about a week now, but it’s by far my ultimate favorite workout/nutrition app that I’ve tired! And let me tell ya, I’ve tired my fair share! And OMG! I love these recipes—so delicious!!! The only thing I wish it included was how to edit the recipes yourself (say if you want to add tomato to an omelette or something) however I don’t believe you can do that—yet. But maybe it’s something M.R.’s team will consider in the future.

If you’re considering trying this out—DO IT!!! You won’t regret it one bit! And if haven’t seen any of Maddie’s videos online, check her out! I discovered her on YouTube! She’s hilarious, real, and actually cares about her work and helping people all around the world get in the best shape of their lives!!! (No I don’t know her from Adam, but you can just tell from her content that’s she’s so sincere and genuine!)

Subscribing to this app was the best decision I did FOR MYSELF!!! Thank you to the M.R. Team and Stupid Era!

-Love and Light Sarah H.

### 2/5 — Too complicated

*2026-07-27*

Never got started because it was so complicated. A step by step guide would have been easier to follow.

### 5/5 — The BEST tracking app and fitness app EVER!!

*2026-07-27, version 4.0*

Such an excellent app! So easy to track calories and macros. The food tracking portion is so all inclusive! Love that you can enter in a food and it’s right there easy to track! The calorie calculator is also great! Takes all the guess work out of how to get into calorie deficit! Love it so much!! Thank you Maddie!!

### 3/5 — Has potential

*2026-07-26*

Hi Madelaine and the Studio Era team,

I’ve really enjoyed exploring the app and I think the workouts look well put together. However, I wanted to provide some honest feedback about the nutrition side, as I think it could be improved significantly.

The meal plans feel very low in carbohydrates. For people who enjoy eating carbs and want to build a sustainable lifestyle rather than follow a restrictive diet, the nutrition recommendations don’t feel very balanced or realistic. Carbohydrates aren’t something everyone wants or needs to avoid, especially when exercising.

I was also surprised by the calorie recommendations. Based on the information I entered, the app estimated around 1,600 calories for maintenance and 1,400 calories for weight loss. For me, those weight-loss calories feel very restrictive and difficult to sustain long term. It gave the impression that the app favours a very aggressive calorie deficit rather than a more moderate, realistic approach to fat loss.

I’d love to see more flexibility, including:

* Different calorie deficit options (gentle, moderate and aggressive).
* More balanced meals that include healthy carbohydrates.
* More family-friendly recipes.
* Greater emphasis on creating sustainable eating habits rather than very restrictive targets.

I think the workouts are a strength of the app, but I found the nutrition side disappointing compared with what I was expecting. I hope this feedback is helpful because I think the app has a lot of potential.

### 5/5 — Best of the best

*2026-07-25, version 4.0*

I’m obsessed with this app and all that comes with it. It’s guidance for everyday makes it easier to stay on track and fuel my body with the proper nutrition and macros that I need to stay fitness and healthy. Changing my body composition has been obtainable 💪💪❤️❤️ Thank you Maddie💝💝💝

### 4/5 — Worth It but a few recommendations to improve

*2026-07-22*

I really like this app. I’ve been using it for almost two months now, and it truly feels like an all-in-one app. I was a little hesitant about the $30 price tag at first, but you really do get a lot for it — workouts, nutrition tracking, trend reporting, and most importantly, the recipes are amazing.

I do have a few areas I’d love to see improved. The recipe tracking can sometimes be a little inaccurate. It would be great to have the option to track calories by gram instead of only per serving. Adding your own recipes and modifying existing recipes also feels a bit limited.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Misleading membership

*2026-08-19*

They bill you in USD and for the WHOLE year, not the $12.99 CAD per month you are led to believe after your 7 free trial! She is Canadian, why would I expect this to be an American run membership when the app even shows Maple Ridge, Bc

### 1/5 — Do not buy- feels like a scam

*2026-08-12, version 4.0*

Ended my free trail before the start date of the paid subscription and still got charged the month. Had no way and still have no way to delete my card info in the app.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-11, version 4.0*

The app kept freezing up & despite what their tech service told me to do it never would stream to my TV. All I could hear was the words and I could never see the video. I tried several different things that was suggested and nothing worked. I have a fire TV.

### 1/5 — Too complicated.

*2026-07-28, version 4.0*

I am not dumb, but I can’t figure out how to select a weeks worth of meals and then generate a grocery shopping list. That would be step one for me. I have only focused on the nutrition part so far and am stymied on how to set up my meals.

### 1/5 — Cant cancel

*2026-07-22*

Cant cancel

### 1/5 — Free Trial Cost Me

*2026-07-22, version 4.0*

I was really excited to try this app, unfortunately it wasn’t really what I was looking for. That happens! But when I go to cancel my free trail after trying it out it still charged me the subscription price. It wasn’t made clear that I had to cancel the free trial 24 hours before it ends. Just FYI if you’re trying out the free trial!

### 1/5 — Can’t use on iPad

*2026-06-06, version 4.0*

Last time I used this app, I was able to maximize the screen on my iPad. Now, the screen stays tiny and you’re required to have a tv or laptop to cast to (which I have neither). What a bummer of a reason to lose clients (obviously other people have this same problem).

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2026-05-21*

Unable to unsubscribe!

### 1/5 — Nothing in app is free

*2026-05-13, version 4.0*

I downloaded this app because on fb she said it was free. The app is free but you have to pay for a subscription to access anything in it. Misleading.

### 1/5 — payment system sucks

*2026-05-07*

the manage subscription page didn’t load during my free trial so i couldn’t cancel in advance. now i need to hunt down tech support to reverse the charge. this should be easier.

This app has it all for food and fitness!

### 5/5 — Get off the fence

*2026-08-23*

I signed up months ago but only recently committed.

Once I committed to the program, By week 2 the sugar cravings are gone & the double chin that was developing had disappeared. And by week 3 holding out to prep a healthier protein fueled snack is way more appealing than selecting a quick fix.

Here’s to eating more and feeling strong & more confident in my body

### 5/5 — Results, effective, fun

*2026-08-22*

Madelaine has a no nonsense approach she's funny and entertaining and motivating to fitness and nutrition . It takes a bit of patience to become familiar with navigating through this app but in time you will get it. Just like she explains!

### 5/5 — The beeeesssttttt!!!

You won’t regret signing up with Madelaine. The workouts and the nutrition are bang on

### 5/5 — Studio Era: The Workout App That Keeps You Moving! 💪✨

*2026-08-15*

Studio Era is honestly awesome! 💪✨ What I love most is that you can literally experience the whole workout session from beginning to end. Even though the workouts are recorded, they don’t feel like those fitness apps where everything is constantly cut and edited. There’s no feeling of missing half the workout—you can follow along, move at your own pace, and really feel like you’re going through the entire session with the trainer.

Another thing I love is how well-guided the workouts are. The instructions are easy to follow, and you don’t feel lost wondering what exercise comes next or how many reps you should do. It makes working out feel more organized and less intimidating, especially when you’re just getting into a routine.

And the recipes are such a great bonus! 🥗🍳 They’re not just random recipes—they actually guide you through what to prepare and make healthy eating feel much more manageable. Having the workout and nutrition guidance together makes it easier to stay consistent instead of figuring everything out on your own.

Overall, Studio Era feels like having a personal trainer + workout program + nutrition guide all in one place. ❤️ It’s motivating, easy to follow, and most importantly, it makes me want to keep showing up.

Definitely one of those apps that makes you think, “Okay, I can actually do this!” 🔥💪

### 5/5 — User friendly and effective

*2026-08-12, version 4.0*

This is a very effective workout program from a straightforward trainer who can tell when you’re about to give up or let up but is forgiving

### 5/5 — Awesome workouts and nutrition

*2026-08-11, version 4.0*

I have been using it and I love it! I highly recommend it
