• Loop sections while refining lyrics or melody
• Jump to song markers exported from your DAW
• Filter your catalog by genres and keywords (including include/exclude searches)
• Manage collaborators, splits, and ownership details
• Keep rich long-form notes using customizable note types and Markdown formatting
• Keep lyrics and chords together with performance-ready views

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed as an indie artist

*2026-07-06*

All of my voice memos, demo tracks, mastered tracks, lyrics and song notes have been organized in drive, but storing the files in the Cloud still didn’t give me the flexibility to see all of my music and figure out what stage each song is in. As soon as I started adding my existing files to Studio Notes I could tell it was designed by a songwriter because I could easily update my song with a status, add my own notes fields, create to-do lists, and so much more. Instant fan of StudioNotes, I can’t wait to see what the next release brings. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — The song management app I’ve been waiting for.

*2026-03-14*

Over time I’ve tried so many different options from iOS notes to actually sticky notes and all sorts of convoluted folder structures and naming conventions. But what I really needed was a professional but easy-to-use to not only track all my songs and recordings but track all the complex details that go with being a songwriter and recording musician. Everything from where a song is at in my creation lifecycle, and rights split for earnings, to lyrics and chords for each song. And in version 2 I can even attach the recordings themselves and then access them from anywhere as they roam in iCloud. And so far the developer has done frequent updates, so I’m excited for what’s next. Highly recommended.
